  • You can do a Google search for "macronutrients", but basically the main ones are carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Macro means large, and these are nutrients that our bodies need in larger quantities to sustain life. Carbs and protein each provide 4 calories per gram, and fat provides 9 calories per gram.   • Oh. Also helped: chair and bed exercises; lifting free weights and doing circuits on the machines at the gym, both weights and cardio. Note that it took a long time to work up to some of the workouts. Wishing you the best. You are working a miracle in your life. You should be proud of yourself.
