I just drink lots of water throughout the day to curb cravings in the summer. In the cooler months before heading to work, I brew awesome tea in my Stanley thermos. Then, if I get a hankering for something, I'll have tea-time. A warm drink really curbs my appetite a lot.

Well, it asks for camera access because you can use your camera to scan food bar codes. Wifi--to save cellular data, and Bluetooth to hook up step-counting devices.
