  • If you approach everything you do with the mindset of "how much weight will this make me lose" you're setting yourself up to fail. It's about all the little lifestyle changes contributing to the bigger picture.

  • I go anyway... -2 in London right now and I still went for my daily lunchtime walk. I find going out in bad weather helps with the discipline aspect of fitness.
  • The best way to cut your calories would be in the way that's most sustainable for you. At your stats I'd say 1500 would be enough to make good progress, even 1200 if you felt that would be manageable for you.
