What are everyone’s protein intake goals per day? I’m struggling to figure out exactly how much protein I should be intaking (been lifting for years but just started MFP/tracking my calories and nutrients). I’m 130 pounds and trying to gain more lean muscle, and my goal right now is set to around 130 grams per day.

I’m having a similar issue! This app has made me realize that I consume less than I thought I did, and I usually have a few hundred calories left over by the end of the day. I’ve been trying to up my protein with each meal and have been adding more snacks. Maybe try an extra protein shake!

Hello! I'm new to My Fitness Pal and am here to take my fitness to the next level by becoming more conscious of what I am eating.
