  • I don't say a word about other people's food, but I find them defending or explaining the things they eat to me, probably without realizing it. Like, "I'm sorry, but I'm ordering the steak," or "would you mind if I get a dessert?" I still don't have a great response to this to help ease the tension. Any ideas?
  • Aww ok, interesting trigger. I love a good detox, especially from added sugar, but everyone is different.
  • I've done IF 16-8 pretty regularly since Sept without any supplements, just black coffee in the a.m. Slowly getting leaner, faster, stronger, and it doesn't affect my workouts to be fasted. I eat pretty clean and am a vegan. I feel great! Just for general fitness, I'm not training for anything specific or competing.

  • Every day! I would cry if it were once a week, and the one time was up 3 lbs or something. Whereas if I've gained 3 lbs since yesterday I know it's just a flux and not real weight! It also helps me monitor trends.

Meaning, a quick cleanse or detox, no more than a week, helps kill my food cravings if they have been getting the better of me and shed some pounds (including water weight for sure, but it's mentally such a boost at the beginning to see the scale drop and see results ASAP).…
