I had a thia basil flavored vinegar recently. It was sent to me in a cocktail kit. Awesome stuff. Not vinegary at all.

Lots of food-for-thought. ;-) I do use a mise en place system for veggies and mixing marinades. I can see how I could use the mise en place as general measurements. Any more advise (and friend requests) much appreciated! :-)

Tortillas. My girls and I can put the fridge in a wrap and it's just more fun. We even use em for dessert. Tortillas are like bacon, makes everything better.

Depends on the theme for the night but a light sprinkle of balsamic or malt vinegar really brightens them up.

I'm in need of a support system as well. For the first time I woke up not feeling fat and disgusting only to step on the scale heavier than ever. Part of me wants to just join the X-sized and proud. :-/

38. Can't wait for 40. Big bday plans already in the works. :-D

It says it's 8:30 but my body knows it's 7:30. Unfortunately I still have to be up at 4:30. Day light savings sucks. :-/

There is a Fitbit group. Covers all the Fitbit.

Beer advocate .come has a lot of good info about nutrition in different brews.

My goal is to step into my 40's (Sept 9th '19) at the Northern Terminus via the PCT. I'll be headed out (April '19).

I had a health professor that does the 80/20. Sound way to avoid burnout it seems.

A professor I had a couple semesters ago introduced me to her 80/20 plan. 80% of her calories are healthy. That way she's less likely to overindulge.

Oh me too. On the craft beers. I even get a beer of the month club that sends me 4 varieties from all over the world. And I live in Oregon which is huge on microbrew. I won't mention that I brew my own too. :-/ I'm a fan of porters.

No helicopter parents, no TV/games if we wanted to see if friends could play we walked to their house first. My girlfriend and I use to walk 4 miles one way to hang out with friends and 8 miles the other to watch movies or go to the mall. If we wanted a soda we had to walk to the local gas station a mile up the road.

Stop, say thank you to #1, call 911 for #2 and give my number to #3. I'm late for class then I have to rush home to make dinner for the kids and pick up groceries on the way. I haven't had a moment to breathe since 4:30am. :-/

I’ve been using a charge 2 since last Dec and love it. I bought one for my teen also. We started a step goal on the 1st (yep the New Year Resolution trap) to walk more steps than the day before. She’s kicking 17, 800 steps (she’s young and athletic) I’m still surfing below 10,000 but determined to catch up. :-)

At least twice a week. Raised and put up two pigs in my freezer last year. Got 3 hams left hanging for the holidays and smoke up a little bacon at least once a month. :-)

Temporarily 38 here! :-) I’m not middle aged though as I plan to live to 121. Ha ha I’m only 1/3 age.

I am not biased when it comes to seafood (except tilapia) although I do aim to eat a serving of salmon every week for the omega 3. The problem with tilapia is the male are much smaller than the female in nature but the female (obviously) are the only ones who make more tilapia so they feed horomones to the male to turn…

Wow inspiration. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I know it’s just one of those exaggerations like saying I eat a million calories. Ha ha. Thanks for the input!

Thanks I discovered that I could sync my Fitbit last night. Way easier than crunching numbers. Lol

Isn’t hotsauce akin to bacon? It makes everything better!
