I was originally planning on raised beds, but I think I’m going to be moving after this summer so I don’t want to build the beds just to turn around and leave. I’ll save them for whenever I’m a little more settled :)

I'm in my mid-20s, hoping to drop a few pound and just generally get in shape. I'm hoping to get a small container garden started this year. I have grand plans of eventually having a nice vegetable garden and small greenhouse, but that won't be until I have a house of my own. For starters, I'm going to work on growing…

I'm hoping to start a garden for the first time this spring and would love some people to help me out!

In a general scientific sense, yes peer-reviewed is the end-all be-all. Peer-review does its best to make sure there are no glaring design flaws, that you haven't misinterpreted data or overlooked an important variable. The experiment may be extremely specific in its research but the research should be seen as solid. The…

Hey y’all! I’m Julianna, 26 (today is actually my birthday!), and am a park ranger in SD. Looking to drop a little weight and build some muscle and over confidence in my body. I just realized this app can do more than log food so I’m lookin for some friends :)

There's nothing wrong with wanting to feel pretty! Perhaps empire-waist tops/dresses would provide the same benefit for you that high-waist pants provide for me? I know this is turning in to fashion advice instead of fitness, but you should still feel confident until you're body is where you want it to be!

I'm very bad at both make up and video games but am looking for friends :)

I'm always barefoot if I can get away with it. Certain exercises trigger a problem in the arch of my feet and it's usually worse if I'm wearing shoes. If I'm barefoot sometimes I can get away with doing them.

Split squats, hip thrusts, and single leg deadlifts have made noticeable impacts for me. Good luck :)

Someone pointed out to me when I was like 7 that my belly did that and I've been self conscious about it ever since. I also hold most of my fat on my lower belly so that doesn't help. For me, avoiding low-rise bottoms have helped my confidence a lot. I've just started my weight loss journey and I know this will probably be…

I've been doing primarily strength training this go-round, and I've seen the biggest change in my arms. Like, I can actually see my bicep and it's amazing. With previous exercise routines, I've noticed fat loss in weird places, like at my knees and my fingers.

@Spliner1969 so glad we're on the same page with that, haha. I work for a NP so in the summer I'm plenty active but the winter leaves me feeling like a potato.

Your goal is way cooler than mine. I just wanna be able to beat my boyfriend at arm wrestling ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks everyone for your input! There are some great ideas here and I appreciate your responses. I failed to mention in my original post that I live in an EXTREMELY rural place, so a lot of things I would typically look to do for cardio aren't really an option here. It also has stupid weather and is really freaking cold in…

I have tried EVERYTHING for the feet. Drinking more water, getting special insoles, stretching daily...literally nothing has helped. I have NO idea what the problem is.

I do hike a fair amount when the weather is suitable, but those days have been few and far between recently. and I always forget about kettlebell swings! I'll definitely have to try to add those in! Thanks!
