another thing I noticed is after a while of no sugar, I really can taste the natural sweetness in whole foods. A bite of fresh tomato is almost like candy. I also now enjoy 100 percent chocolate, where as before, it would curl my toes lol

I did quit the sweets around week 5. I still had the same weight loss as when I ate sweets, so it works either way, but for me, when I just quit them all together, my cravings went away, and it made things easier. I also experienced tiredness, especially in the middle of the day. eating more nutrient dense foods really…

yummmm looks good bro!

It depends on what I splurge on. as long as I am eating good quality good food I am fine, if it is junk, beer, or sugary foods, I will pay later
-
Haha, no I'm too cheap. Just cutting more Holes in my belt to hold up my shorts 😁😎

Yeah, I don't avoid fat in my Foods, I prefer dark meat, or the fattest cuts of beef. I just don't add a lot of extra fat, a little olive oil on salads, some butter with the veggies.

Update: I have learned from another forum that kayaking can give your core a good workout, so that is what it was I bet, and that is a good thing :)

I have not noticed that, though I am not officially Keto, more low carb with higher protein. I swapped the added fats for vegetables, since I want to use the best most energizing fat source there is, human fat from my belly! :) I am pretty sure I am utilizing ketones though, since my fat is steadily going down and my…

week 17 158.2 pounds 32 1/2 inches!! burn baby burn!
-
Yummy sockeye salmon steak, lots of good veggies, and some 95% dark chocolate for dessert! :)
-
looking good, keep it up!
-
. Thanks you! You got this! Just stick to it and watch that fat burn! I was over 190 4 months ago, and 38 inches around the belly...

Week 16 160.0!!! 32 7/8 inches! Wow, good to be back in the loss category, despite a splurge on the 4th.! Omad is magic :)
-
welcome! good luck! the first week is usually the hardest for most people, for me it was around the third week. So be prepared and resolve to stick with it, it really works!

looks yummy!!

well done!

great work!

Thanks, yeah, I would be happy with 160s, as long as I am leaner, I am still pretty flabby now, so the measurements around my waist is my main thing to watch. I still have plenty of fat to burn. I am just doing the weight weekly for fun, and to show others that measuring, or how your clothes fit, are much better to show…

Thanks! No, just typed the wrong digit. I am not sure now the weight I am supposed to be. I first set my goal at 150, but now that my waist is half my high in inches (5 ft 7), which is considered healthy, I don't know if I need to be much lighter. My body composition still has a ways to go, I want to continue to burn fat,…

Week 16 161.8 pounds 33 1/2 inches! silly scale lol still burning the fat! weight loss should be slower now, as I become more active and try to gain some muscle
-
Actually, that was a part of it I think, that, and the scale just fluctuates from week to week, and is unreliable, but as long as the trend is downward, thats cool! :)
-
yummmm food porn....lol keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing what you got cookin' :)
-
Happy birthday! nice job with that weight! I couldn't get on that scale every day it would drive me batty, but thats just me haha
-
Welcome! your journey is similar to mine, except having a kid haha. you have found out that diets don't work for weight loss too eh? you have come to the right place :) I am doing 19/5 and it is almost miraculous! hard to believe only 3 months ago I believed i was too old and my metabolism too slow to ever lose any weight…
-
I had to get rid of some of my clothes, just way to big for me lol. Good work everyone! :)
-
How cool is that! it is catching on! :)

week 14 weigh in 161.4 pounds 33 3/4 inches! I think the scale is drunk lol I am pretty sure I lost some weight last week, and I know I didn't suddenly lose 4 pounds this week. The only thing I did different in my eating was add more vegetables. though the weekly scale checks are fun and interesting, still having…
-
Yeah, maybe I just needed to take a big dump, and that might have kept my 1 pound a week weight loss story consistent hehe. A good example of why measuring is better than weighing imo
-
week 13 weigh in. oooooops 165.4 ! first time gaining weight since starting. I did a little splurging with the family on our annual fishing trip, if that is why, it was well worth it! :) waist measurement is still showing progress with just over 34 inches!

Yeah any day between 9 and 10 am !
