sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I have lots some inches to OA as well, mine is mainly in my hips. Losing weight helped me a lot. Also cutting inflammatory foods like sugars, refined carbs, and seed oils took away my dependence on over the counter pain meds

Just checking in. since my weekly weigh ins were all the same now. if I am not posting it means all is good. I made it through the holidays and only gained less than one pound if any at all, i seem to go up and down between 145 and 147

depending on your goals.If weight loss is your main goal, I started out not restricting carbs, and when I cut carbs, (for other reasons than weight loss), my weekly weight loss stayed about the same, but was way more satisfied with my meals. try different things and see what works best for you. good luck

yeah for sure, it is easier on the budget only eating once a day. I can afford better quality food too now, like grass fed beef, wild caught salmon, organic veggies, etc...

I do an electrolyte mix of two liters water, one teaspoon of potassium chloride, one half teaspoon unrefined mineral salt, and one teaspoon baking soda. I learned it from Cole Robinson, he calls it "snake juice" works great for omad, or the occasional 48 hr I do...

I am not even doing omad very often now, just use it when I am busy and need the time for other things. the main key that made it work was I was freed from my food addiction. also what I eat makes a big difference in how I feel and avoid cravings, but this forum is not about diets so I won't go into that here.
