I could never get used to drinking plain water in the colder months. But, for the past week, I've been putting 0 cal flavored drops in my water - and it really makes a difference. I went from a little water to 9 or more cups a day.

Thanks ! It's an interesting way of eating. I haven't tried it. Maybe some day - if what I'm currently doing stops working. PB and chocolate fat bombs sound good - LOL ! But PB and chocolate anything sounds good :smiley: I'm glad that there are lots of veggies included - for the fiber and minerals.

I realized that the vegetarian protein sources weren't satisfying to me. And, some of them gave me digestive issues - like bloating - or pains. Beans are not my friend - even with beano. Tofu wasn't that satisfying. I didn't like seitan or tempeh. I'd have the morningstar farms, boca, quorn, gardein products - but not all…

I visited NM about 12 years ago. I loved it! Though, it was a bit dry for my liking. I'd definitely go back. Hope you find the peace you're looking for :smile:

I used to be more or less a WFPB - vegetarian for 15 years. I brought my kids up vegetarian. Then 2 years ago, my husband and I stopped.

Hi @skf1201 ... I was considering the Superhero Half Marathon in Morristown, NJ. Never did a half before. I usually stop running in the winter because it's so cold outside. I figured I could build my miles up on the treadmill this year in the winter. We'll see ! So, do you run year round? Do you have any races coming up?

Just finished my 40min walking treadmill workout. Not as good as running, but I'll have to work back into it again. The day after I declared I was going to train for a half in May - I got sick - LOL !!! The one good thing that came from my time off is that I started drinking over 8 cups of water a day. I add MiO drops…

Also - I've seen people log their active hours during the day as exercise. I've also seen people who change their activity level because they are more active. And, I've seen people who ignore it. If you add it in as exercise or increase your activity level - MFP's going to give you more calories to eat.

Well, if your body is feeling like it wants to do more exercise ... then I'd say do it! Start with just one day of doing something different than walking. Question of the day! How do you stay on track when traveling? When traveling, we just make sure to make careful selections at restaurants. Choose foods with high protein, don't eat the bread, choose healthy veggies as sides. It's really quite doable. And, if driving in the car for a while - take along healthy snacks.

@Sparkle1098 ... my favorite on the go snack under 100 cal is Vermont Smoke and Cure turkey sticks - about 70 cal, 8 or 10g of protein depending on flavor.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day. I haven't gotten my workout in yet. I'm working on meal planning and prepping for the week. This is my first time doing meal prepping. I want to have healthy proteins and cooked veggies ready to go.

QOTD - How do I reward myself for a good day, week, or month. Hmmmm. The answer is that I don't. Is this something that people commonly do? I mean I'll get things if I want things - but not as a reward. I usually just feel happy about an accomplishment - but no rewards. Maybe I'm missing out on something.
