About 7 months into this and today was the first time in years I didn’t feel like the Loch Ness monster at the Lake. So glad I made this change and can’t wait to see a full years progress.

If you plateau at a certain point try using a 24 hr carb refeed a few times a month.

I cut at least 50lbs in a few months eating 1400 calories on keto. Probably a bit lower than I should have went but it worked. Now I stick with 2800-3500 cals with no fat gain.

Keto is amazing for dropping fat quickly. I stayed strict keto for 4 months and lost about 45 lbs. Sober for the last few years and also quit a 20 year smoking habit. I have a terribly addictive personality but I’m finally figuring out how to replace unhealthy addictions with better options like working out. Congratulations to everyone on overcoming their struggles.

If you want to build muscle and working out you’d want a good amount more protein unless you are 96 lbs. Shoot for a g per every lb you weight.

I done it when I first started out. You will lose weight at 1000-1200 calories for awhile but it wrecks your metabolism in the end and you will stall out simply because your body assumes you are starving. Find your BMR then drop it down to a daily 400-500 calorie deficit to start.
