I still have a long way to go weight wise, but my fiancee and I joined a gym we really like and I've made it after work, twice by myself so far...that's a big deal for me! lol

There is a keto calculator that I used. You plug in your stats and it'll tell you your macros... Me myself, I'm just trying to keep it below 30g of carbs a day for now. I may get more strict on macros once I get a little more sure of myself. https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/

I remember my mom doing a low carb diet when I was young and her goal was to keep it under 60g per day. She lost 60lbs doing that. I get too discouraged when I try to weigh everyday. However, when I was doing that, my trend seemed to be up 1 down 2 (when I'm losing, that is...lol)...except certain 'times' when my weight could go up as much as 5-7lbs. I've gone to weighing weekly, that's much easier for me to track...

I just left WW myself about 3 or 4 months ago. I lost about 40lbs, before they changed to the Freestyle program. My frustration with them seemed to be the cost and everytime I'd get comfortable with their program, they'd change it up. I think MFP is much more straightforward...and cheaper...lol.

For me it's protein. If I don't eat enough protein I snack a lot more and usually it's stuff I shouldn't be snacking on and I don't lose weight. Since doing low carb I don't snack at all at night, which was usually my most difficult time of the day. And water...I have to drink a lot of water or I get bloated... Good luck!

I'm finding I have a lot more indigestion and heartburn when I have bread or sugar, even if I stay within my calorie limits. I've never been diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity or anything like that, but I just plain feel better when I stick to the plan...

I was on WW for a while and tried to do both that and MFP and it got really confusing for me. It seems like they're changing their 'formula' all the time.
