Beautiful! Well done!

You’re already twenty pounds ahead of yourself!!!!! Slow and steady wins the race!
-
I am so very happy for you! No excuses!!!! Love is magical, isn’t it? All the best to you, continued health and happiness and all of the wonderful things life certainly has in store for you!
-
Thanks... I don’t really see it, but I’m gonna take your word on it! Lol.
-
Yes, be soooo happy that you are starting 25 pounds over than back at 96! Full steam ahead!

Subtle. You nailed it. Lol. It’s funny though, when you start losing fat and you kind of go through a lumpy, bumpy stage, you feel like you look worse than you did with more weight. At least I have. Well, I have it in my mind now that I will be content with subtle changes - I think you and I are down to that. But that is a…

Thanks. I guess I was expecting the same dramatic change from 2 to 3, so not gonna lie, I was more than a little discouraged. It would probably be more visible to me if I had worn the same clothes for the pictures. I still wanna lose about ten more pounds, but I know that will be very slow to come off. I have a tendency…

I guess I was thinking of my past experience. I have always been small, 115 pounds after four kids, lived in Hawaii for 35 years and used to do triathlons and century bike rides, etc., dance classes, yoga, certified Zumba instructor - I could eat around 3,000 calories a day and never fluctuate in weight. Fast forward to my…

I wish I would have taken from the beginning! Everyone in my family keeps telling me my neck looks smaller, so maybe I was carrying all of my weight in my neck. Lol
-
Thanks. I guess I had such a dramatic difference with the first ten pounds that I was hoping to see more of a change. But I just looked again at my forearm in pic 2 vs pic 3, and I can a big difference there. Thanks for making me look again! Lol.

Thanks! I haven’t added any exercise yet, because I didn’t want to “bulk up”... I am clearing and landscaping a 3 acre property, so I fall into bed each night and wake up sore. That’s all I can bear right now. Lol. I agree with the slowing down part. I actually am not restricting my calories so much now, just eating clean,…

Don’t mind the paper plate! Lol. Home alone. I walked past my vegetable garden and had some huge basil leaves. This is garlic, ground turkey, tomato, purple basil, green basil, spinach and spices (always red chili pepper flakes) on a bed of giant basil leaves. Didn’t even miss pasta.
-
The taco idea is one I’ll have to try!
-
That sounds really good! Portobello mushrooms are the best! I scrape out the gills and crack a whole egg inside and then bake.
-
I just tossed in raw baby spinach. It was my favorite part!
-
That was my portion! Lol. I actually ate the rest in cold strips over spinach and strawberries. Yum!

It sat in the pantry for two weeks because I didn’t want to be disappointed by yet another “pancake” mix. Like you, I thought they were super yummy! I didn’t see your MFP post -sorry, I would have just added to yours that it gets another two thumbs up! It was easy to half their suggested instructions on the back for one…

Lol. I feel ya. I was strict paleo for a few years, but I’ve relaxed a little. Okay, a lot.
-
Good for you!!!! You can do anything now! All the best!

I enjoyed this lunch so much, I’m having it again for dinner. Total calories, 327. The zucchini boats are delicious and only 91 calories each and this is 1/8 cup Newman’s Own marinara. Here is how I make the zucchini boats. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice three zucchini lengthwise and carve out center with a spoon and…

Like a 1x2 square. Used a 5x9 Pan for 24 slices. Sorry, I don’t have a food scale to be more accurate for you. I was wondering if you knew better ingredients than using so much coconut oil that the recipe called for - you know more about how it would affect the texture, which is really nice. I was thinking of substituting…

Crazyravr... I just added a recipe for Chocolate Mint Grasshopper Bars. They are really good-I would love to see how you would tweak the recipe even more. They are frozen and taste like mini ice cream bars.

These are always in our freezer. Really good!. And these because my hubbies Achilles heel is mint chocolate chip. https://tofutti.com/frozen-desserts-2/cuties/

No, it has a drum that you keep in the freezer that has some kind of gel around it. I just put a whole tub of Greek yogurt in and start it up (as it freezes, I sometimes stop it to scrape off the sides and stir). It has a hole in the top where you can add other things like nuts or berries. I love it - had it for years.…

I have an inexpensive ice cream maker and I put Greek yogurt in it - delicious! Black cherry is my hubby’s favorite. I like plain mixed with green tea powder. I’ve added all kinds of fresh fruits and nuts. Peaches and walnuts are delicious together!
-
The coconut gives it a really nice texture, so you feel like you’re eating Girl Scout thin mints! I was really happy with the taste. Hope you enjoy!

I drain the water from the package and soak them in a large bowl of water with a capful of apple cider vinegar and a capful of coconut aminos. Let sit while chopping a garlic clove or two. Then drain in a colander and stir fry in a pan with minced garlic until they give the squeaky sound. Then I use as spaghetti noodles or…

It’s exactly ten pounds because I waited until I hit ten pounds to let myself buy a new blouse and take a picture. The scale is moving much slower now -because since this picture, in almost one week, sometimes the scale moves down a pound and some days stays the same. A lot of it must have been water because I had more…

Yes, I’ve seen a LOT of fried foods in the South. We may have been poor. Lol. We used to have fried chicken or a roast only on Sundays and grew all of our veggies in the garden. I just realized something as you said that. My dad was the curriculum director for Phys. Ed / Health for the entire state. His background was a…
