When I’m putting food on my plate, I go by weight after it’s been cooked. And literally, my plate is on the scale, zeroed, add food type until I hit goal weight or just record the weight it is. When I’m preparing food I follow the recipie which typically calls for volumes. Am I doing something wrong?

Wouldn’t a measurement of weight be far more accurate than volume?

As mentioned, I scanned the bag and it corresponds. But the original entry I was using referred to the exact same bag/brand. The macros were just massively different. I’m not talking a few grams of carbs or protein, I’m talking 200 calories for 5 oz of rice vs 500 calories with completely different macros. I don’t always…
