I quit smoking 10 years ago and gained 35 pounds. I did a couple of different diets that helped me lose 15 to 20 of it, but then I turned 48 and funny things starting happening. I have moved from WW to MFP and I am seeing the same results. I think it is easier to track with MFP, as I have not had to substitute one food for something similar on this ap. They have thousands and thousands, so I think my count is more accurate than with WW. Hope this helps.
