Seems strange because it involves the scale, but hear me out: Stepped on the scale and saw I had gained about 1.5lbs in three days, but when I took my measurements I had lost 5.5 inches total in those three days! For the first time I truly did not care about the number on the scale, I was so proud of those inches!! :D
