My other half used to do the same until she started to see the improvement, not just in my health and fitness but also the satisfaction and confidence in myself, she will soon understand why you track your intake.

No, just drunk it. Have you ever made up a story to get out of doing something?

Keep working at it and take each day as it comes, I started in January at 242lbs with the aim to get to 147 by September. Come in at 162 today which has given me a boost but it has been tougher this past month. Have stuck religiously to 1200 cals a day with exercise, it can be done just keep working away.

Wedding is in September and I have 20lbs to go to get to my goal weight, have lost 75lbs since January and people keep telling me thats enough, stop now, just eat normally, stop recording what you eat... What you said is key, it is what makes you feel happy and…

There are so many on Youtube which i use my phone to watch, HIIT ones are tough but you can do 10minute, 15 or even 30 minute ones. I have tried to do at least one a day or go for a walk at lunchtime for an hour and do an abs 30 day challenge once the kids are in bed.

I too was considered obese at 242lbs in January, I'm now overweight at 167lbs and hoping to be normal (147lbs) by September! Stay focused, keep your food diary every day and slowly increase your exercise. Most importantly enjoy your progress!

Thank you Emily, all the best for your wedding target!

Yeah, a mixture between HIIT training with weights, walking, running or building work (at home building an extension).

I am now at the point where people are saying, "thats enough now, how much more do you want to loose?" I will tell them I want to loose another stone, "no, thats too much, you should stop!" I also find these people are often people who are on some form of fad diet themselves and havent stuck to it...
