  • That’s usually the time it happens. Good news, it thickens up again. I take collagen daily. Further foods from Costco is the one I like. One scoop daily in my coffee. It might take a couple more weeks. Make sure you’re getting enough protein, also. F65*SD 2/26/18*SW 246*CW 178*GW 135

  • My husband is sorta doing it with me. I would make him a carby side dish for dinner at first. Eventually he just stopped eating all pasta, potatoes and most of the time bread. He won’t add the higher fat, though, and doesn’t eat enough protein. He’s always been a really picky eater. He’s type 2 and I wish he would commit.…
  • What pills are you talking about? I’ve been keto for almost 9 months and down close to 60 lbs. I got started by following Susanne Ryan on YouTube. She has a good book with recipes, Simply Keto. Also, ketoconnect.net has great recipes. I find that I do better when I keep it simple. Roasted chicken thighs with skin on and a…
  • Me, too, and you look great!
  • I also started reducing carbs before keto, so no keto flu. I have a lot of weoght to lose so I recalculate macros every 10 or 15 lbs I lose. I'm down to 15 (net) now but I've lost 50 lbs in 6 months and I'm a little looser with the net carbs. Meaning I wouldn't never use net carb calculation at first but now I do. I agree…
  • I’m so sorry you had to learn that lesson but thanks for sharing. I’m going on a cruise in December and that is something for me to remember if I’m tempted. Next time just eat the toppings!

  • I just used the one on ketokarma.com. I would say just pick one and use it always, are the results that different? I think to start it is 75% fat, 20% protein goal and 5% carbs max as a rule. Right now I’m 198 lbs, needing to lose another 65 lbs, I’m working at a 24% deficient so my macros are 76g protein, 90g fat and 15 g…

  • I’ve been doing it for months, it was just a natural progression from not being as hungry any more. Don’t force yourself. After you’ve done keto for a while it will feel like you just can’t eat as often. Much easier to limit your calories, it’s main function is to promote autophagy. I’m an older person and I do notice that…
  • Bulletproof coffee helps. Just remember fat is a limit, of a goal. It’s helpful when you’re first starting because it satisfies your hunger.
