  • Thanks everyone for the ideas! Lots to check into!
  • Steve, this post makes me want to sing and dance. I was 100% in the mindset that I needed motivation daily. Recently, I have just learned to put my head down and grind through it. There are for sure bumps in the road, but it is important to just move past and know they are not the things that define me. I recently started…
  • YOU GO!!! That is fantastic!!
  • Wall push ups are a great strengthener as well as banded push ups using these types of bands: https://www.amazon.com/Strength-Training-Resistance-Exercise-Flexbands/dp/B088FBJVNL/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1O667DU5NFXXX&dchild=1&keywords=small+bands+for+working+out&qid=1594903790&sprefix=small+bands%2Caps%2C151&sr=8-6 Place the band…

  • I journal, work out, go for a walk by myself, or make lists. The large lined post it notes are my favorite. There are lists everywhere... I think my husband thinks I am crazy.
  • Is there a chance that you have gotten "stagnant" in your routine? For me, I need to change things up every few months to keep my metabolism moving and guessing. Maybe try something new? For example, if you eat the same things for breakfast each day, change it up. You could also change up your exercise routine. Also, think…
  • I am new to this board, but will hopefully be motivated by you all! I do Crossfit about 5-6 days a week an I use CompTrain Programing! If anyone is interested, it is free online! There are leveled WODs if you have equipment or if you are able to get into a gym, and there is also home workouts on their site currently.…
  • Yep! Fitnessblender is 100% free!
  • It is so annoying that there is not a way to put in a WOD! I do not generally enter my strength unless the WOD itself is heavy on the strength.
  • Great idea for the TDEE. I am going to look more into this and adjust accordingly!
  • I 100% am with you. I guess my post was for reassurance. You know, the scary little voice in the back of my head was telling me that if I didn't follow it, I would suddenly not lose. Which yes, is INSANE. I realize. Just needed some backup. :-) Thanks
  • My goal is weight loss. I would like to drop 24 more pounds. I have been losing at a safe rate of 1-2 pounds per week. I have tried to log my activity in the past and struggled with the app. I am able to enter my weight lifting component, but have struggled to enter the entire workout. For example our workout for today is…
  • I am so sorry it was canceled, I hope it can be rescheduled!
  • We have all been there, which is why we are all here. I am also new to the discussions and have come here to motivate myself to get back on track. Everyone has had great ideas of starting small and of setting small goals, such as just logging in and entering everything you eat. One thing that is necessary for me is to…
  • Love your meal prep choices! Lebanese foods are some of my favorite and remind me of home. We had a huge Lebanese heritage festival in my hometown each summer, and it was one of my favorite events!
  • Do you have access to a small space to do some videos? My FAVORITE are fitnessblender on YouTube. They are mostly HIIT style workouts and it can all be done with minimal equipment and body weight. The best part is you can pick a video that is anywhere from 10 minutes up to an hour or so. Do what you can with the time you…
  • Thanks! Meal prepping helps more than most other things. We had Big Mac Bowls tonight with ground turkey, tomorrow is fish taco salads, Wednesday is BBQ chicken with cauliflower potato salad, and Thursday is shrimp fajitas. I make approximately 4 portions of each dinner and then we have leftovers for lunch. I had to jump…
  • I feel like this is the thread for me! I actually said to my husband a few days ago that I am healthier every day of my 30s (so far, I turned 31 recently) than I was a single day in my 20s. While it is harder in my 30s, I do feel like I am far more motivated to become healthy not just to look good, but also for my long…
