Hi! New here mostly. I'm trying to be overly social in this journey because in the past, trying to eat well and lose weight quietly in the background without talking to anyone always led to setbacks. I went low carb a few weeks back, and a week ago went on a strict keto. Outside the motivational but water loss experience,…

Just joined albeit late for the month, but June is coming! This is my first time diving into this kind of open commitment/accountability like this too so I apologize if I did anything wrong! (I went ahead and snagged the next available column.)

Thank you! I slowly added a bit of sodium at a time through to day today and it did help. I just had to keep reminding myself what I was doing wasn't dangerous (probably got to around 4000mg with the extra) and I started to feel better quickly. Again, thank you for your insight!

I've slowly been upping pink salt a little bit to test the waters. It seems to help a bit, but tasting the salt makes my brain go "oh no, sodium! That's bad for you!" thus triggering anxiety that spirals into a panic attack. (I added 1tsp Himalayan to this salad as I planned for the day and that's what's happening right…

Hopping on MFP or r/ProgressPics and looking at success stories. Gives me that determination to get through.

Nearly a month though into keto here. My goal is to drop about 70lbs. Long road ahead, but I've oddly woken up with even more motivation and inspiration every single day thanks to communities like MFP and r/ProgressPics.

Scan and plan. I'll enter my kitchen with a meal plan in mind but scan, add and delete interchangeable ingredients to make the best version of the meal I can make to fit with my number goals. It becomes a bit of a fun game to me because it helps me get creative with my ingredients and shopping more!

I can't wait to go suit shopping again. No tailor will be able to fix the drastic size change I'm planning on! I know it'll take me some time even after goals are met to feel good about myself, but at least then I'll have a before/after to debunk any negative thoughts!

Fat bombs aren't as terrible as the phrase sounds and really, really help you feel full. Throw a spoon of olive oil into most things helps. It's been a staple when I need to add to something to feel more full like tofu scramble, salads, etc. The sugar/carb cravings get better after a few days. My body was the same. I was…
