I don't like sushi
-
Me too, it's disgusting.

When I was losing weight I did. In maintenance, nope.
-
Thanks. I do plenty of squats and there is some dealifting as well.
-
Thanks for the suggestion! I don't mind subbing exercises either, I'm just wondering if the kneeling squat would be considered glute dominant?
-
I think it's just by the fourth day I'm done with them. Would a kneeling squat be considered glute dominant? I know it targets them.
-
Yes, I like them. I work out at home so I use bands in place of cables. I use them for things like rows, pull downs, pull through, hip abduction, etc.
-
Really? I think 25g is good. That's about what I get in a day and it's a good amount for me. I'm also a short female.
-
You look beautiful! When I lost weight I got so many comments about being too thin and to stop losing or there would be nothing left. Really, I wasn't too thin at all. I was a healthy weight for my height. I think people are either jealous or intimidated when they make comments like that.

I'm curious why do you want a day dedicated to bands? I use bands, weights, and bodyweight exercises but not dedicated days to each, I use them for specific exercises based on my program. If you are a female, you can add me. I'm building right now as well.

My best handstand yet, I could only hold it off of the wall for a second, but it's progress.

Congrats on the beautiful baby! At your 6 week post partum appointment your Dr will clear you for the exercises you can safely do. For now I would just stick to walking and getting the rest you need.
-
That was my thought as well.
-
Have you had any imaging done?
-
Did you have a diagnosed diastasis recti? And have you been cleared to do abdominal exercises? If not, that's where you should start.
-
Yes, mindset is probably part of my problem. I'm always so distracted with everything on my to-do list. I do prefer vinyasa yoga but I don't have anywhere local that provides it.
-
I'll join! Running my first ever bulk.
-
I agree with this. I think a lot of beginner programs have two different full body workouts that you rotate.
-
I've done both at home and in studio. I definitely prefer the class environment and I really like the latest instructor. I don't know what my problem is with it. I always feel really good when I'm done.

I think it's different for each person and each injury. I had herniations in L4/L5 and L5/S1. I injured myself about eight years ago while pregnant and not using proper body mechanics to lift patients. My main symptoms were back pain and shooting pain down the back of my right leg. Rest is really what helped me. I got…

See, I really enjoy yoga and I'll be really committed for a few weeks and then I just get bored with it. I wish I found it more fun.
-
I've never done piyo, although it does sound interesting.
-
Oh no! That's awful.

My go to breakfasts are Kodiak pancakes, omelettes, and breakfast burritos made with a high fiber wrap.

It's really hard not to eat when bored when you're at home all day. Is there some other activity you can go to when bored? Maybe get a book to read or a magazine. Find a hobby like drawing. Anything really to deter you from eating when bored. This probably sounds bad to some but I let my little guy watch TV when I work…

Thanks, I didn't know that
-
I feel so sad for you.

Thanks so much for the article! I do have wrist pain when doing push ups as well. I'm going to implement these stretches.
-
I have tried and tried to get a handstand, I just have poor wrist strength and flexibility.

Feel free to add me, I need to build a friend list.
