I've always felt very welcoming and not experienced harassment. I've been in different gyms in several countries over the years. I might get the occasional stare from men but I either ignore them or give them a stern look and that's normally enough to mind their own business.

I'm with you. Doing the Strong Curves program (and loving it!). My stomach is flat but no visible abs yet. Working on glutes, legs, arms and shoulders first.

Not sure where you live but here in the UK two chefs called the 'Hairy Dieters' (hairy bikers) have lots of fake away low calorie recipes. Their cookbooks are wonderful. Worth a Google.

You're welcome @hollyhom I'm very happy with his program and his down to earth approach suits me to the bone. Good luck with your training and indeed @sardelsa is right. It's only your journey that counts! I came from near underweight and barely any strength to where I am now and am proud of that. Long may it continue.

Must admit that this looks rather interesting! I'm a 47 year old woman and weigh about 117 lbs right now. Following the Strong Curves program (week 4, beginners). According to this I'm intermediate. Some are lower, couple higher. ..
