The 2400 seems fine. I am a Female, 5'6" and maintain at 2550 calories a day, less and I lose weight. I lift five days a week and walk at lunchtime but have a sedentary job really. It will be some trial and error for you but 2400 seems reasonable to start with. Good luck.

I think you made a start and doing great! Swimming is perfect and you can always add/change things up later. Happy you left an abusive relationship, take small steps towards working on yourself and you will get there. Good luck!

My maintenance calories are 2450 a day just to give you an idea. Anything less and I will lose weight. I'm 5'6.

I lift five days a week and do some light cardio on a daily base (leisurely walking, cycling, swimming). I make sure my protein intake is on point; one gram per 1lb body weight. The rest gets filled up as I go. I have two teenage sons to feed so my diet sits around theirs. However, I do eat some chocolate and have a glassβ¦
