Hang in there and do what the program says. I've done that. Started as a complete noob but now doing the advanced SC program and loving it. Good progress too. Bum, legs, back, shoulders and arms are nicely changing. Good luck!

My gym has the 2nd one you mentioned and I have never had any trouble. I do SC advanced and hip thrust over 200 lbs. Hope this helps? Ask the gym to invest in it? Mine does buy new products every now and again.

Realized I have holes in my first set of lifting gloves, time to buy new ones!

I've had similar and it took me 8 weeks! I avoided any heavy lifting, squats with the lower body. Did lots of repetition with low weighs. And lots of stretching before and after.

Could it be that everything else is getting smaller except your belly? Hence your belly looks bigger? Belly fat often disappears last.

Cardio day as that is easier to fit around Sunday plans.

Go to university! Much easier than working and studying at the same time. Oh and don't marry him! Go travel instead and find your 'soulmate'. Your older self now knows he's there. Just be patient please. Spend more time with your sister, she's missing you.

Totally agree with the above. My pancake bum is transforming nicely into a well rounded booty with the Strong Curves program.

Good quality steak doesn't need much. I would go with just salt, pepper and maybe some mushrooms or onions on the side. Goes well with homemade chips from the oven. Don't need much oil for that and maybe a salad? Enjoy!

I get dizzy on treadmills too. Hence I use the rowers or bikes for my cardio.

I didn't know at the time. Just noticed lots of changes followed by nothing. Then all those changes started to make sense. They can do a blood test but here in the UK they prefer to wait a bit.

I've had neuropathy symptoms too. But mine were initially not linked to perimenopause as they happened soon after childbirth and I ended up having nerve damage during my 2nd delivery. Now being post menopausal I realise that a lot of issues were to do with the menopausal state I was in and not with the nerve damage my…

Food scale (already owned a human scale) and a couple of easy cooking books with calories accounted for (Hairy Dieters, UK). Good luck!

Feeling so much better in my late forties than I did ten years ago! Can't agree more with the above.

Is 55 deemed old nowadays? Ohoh. Feeling great in my late 40s and hope to carry on like that for a long time.

48 tomorrow and exactly a year without now. Can't be happier. My periods where every other week (heavy and seven full days) add migraines, dizzy spells and you get the picture. The occasional hot flash or the night sweats are only warming me up which is fine as I'm currently always cold. Good luck!

I've officially gone without for a year now! Made a Drs appointment for a 'well women's check up' coming week just to confirm some things. Night sweats and hot flashes are there at times but I'm usually cold so I don't really mind. 😉 It's so much nicer after years of heavy and long periods.

Yes that is a common problem. I have the same. Keep at it and do some separate wrist exercises when you can. Good luck!

You look great! I'm also on a lean bulk. My tummy has become soft after 8.8 lbs. Need to gain 4 more lbs and will go from there. I do follow the Strong Curves program. I'm 47, 5'6 aiming for 125 lbs.
