Going to an all-inclusive in Mexico in about 12 weeks and plan to have the time of my life (drinks and food included)!

@cee134 we work in a cube environment and share a wall!

Personally, I make sure to save 150-200 cals per day to have a late night treat. Low Fat popcorn or some low-cal ice cream bar option. I have seen some people mention before that brushing your teeth when you get the craving can help because once you have that minty taste in your mouth you don't really want to eat after.

You win, good sir! And then there's my husband every time I walk by... "Hey...I like yur butt". :smirk:

I would be sitting in my ex-bosses lap. :flushed:

I have similar stats to you- 30's, married, two children, no heath problems. My husband and I also decided we did not want to have any more children and with my support my husband decided to have a vasectomy. I really didn't have the greatest experiences with BC back in my early 20's, and my husband felt that it'd be…

Stopped at 2 and hubby had a vasectomy. No regrets! Financially and just time management wise we couldn't imagine having another.

I do not have this problem (AT ALL), however here are some suggestions: Avocado + Toast/Crackers Peanut Butter/Nut Butters + Toast /Crackers Mixed Nuts Granola & Trail Mixes Protein Bars Full Fat Yogurt Use dips like guacamole or hummus when eating fresh veggies/ whole grain crackers You can buy higher calorie cuts of meat…

Also- wanted to add that some people, myself included, track weekly calories in addition to daily. Basically what @NovusDies is referring to by "saving up" calories for the weekend. There is a place you can easily track this in your Diary under the nutrition tab. It's only available on the app from what I've seen.

Another vote for Lean Cuisine + frozen steamed veggies :)
-
Honestly, maybe consider having a really nice "cheat meal" instead of making it a whole day. Depending on your deficit, a full cheat day could easily wipe out the work you've done all week if you're not extra careful (speaking from experience!)

Loved this! Congrats!

A few years back I took Topamax for close to a year for migraines. I lost 40lbs and my migraines were well controlled. The long term side effects became increasingly scary and eventually it was not worth it to continue on the medication. Very very scary stuff and could have ended really badly. My Dr. had me pretty quickly…

Pet Peeve When someone starts to have a few light workout sessions per week and because they are so proud of themselves, they allow for a nice treat after every workout (Mcdonalds Mcflurry, candy bar, doughnuts, etc...) which totally offsets the calories they burned or they end up worse off with additional calories. I have…

THIS. SO MUCH THIS.

You can also track weekly calories instead or in addition to daily. You can track it using the Nutrition tab in your diary. I think it is only available on the app FYI. Learning this was a game changer and big comfort for me. Sounds like you're in a great head space! If (when) you have an off day where you start to…

I'm 5'5'' and currently at 164- I comfortably wear a 10/12 in bottoms! Shooting for size 6/8 but not in a super big rush as my current deficit is only -.5lbs per week.

oooohh that looks amazing. Maple Bacon Doughnut I'm assuming... Hope you had a nice cup of coffee with it!

Welcome! You will find lots of support and great info on this site! You already have lots of good info here, but I wanted to quickly add to not forget about liquids. Everyone has mentioned that it is important to log all your food, however it's equally important to log all liquids. Soda, Teas, Juices, coffee creamer, and…

YUM! What is the "diet version"? Is there a special way to ask for this?
-
yup. want that.

Thank you so much @AnnPT77 . Lots of good info here...I have been wondering about this for a long time but didn't understand how the logistics of it all would work. :)
-
Thank you, Dan! It does indeed look like a downward trend- I'll take it!
-
Ahhh! Makes sense!

All valid points. The line graph does show a tick upward with the grey projected line down. I usually go by the trend weight as shown above and don't pay much attention to the graph. Perhaps I need to use both-although they do seem to contradict as the line trend is going down but the data trend is going up. One month ago…

THANK YOU! I feel the same about having a set calorie goal each day- I'm okay with a few weeks of gathering data to see how it all plays out- just wanting some validation that this isn't a terrible idea before giving it a go!

I actually had some interest in a fitbit last year and instead of dropping a ton of money on one I bought a basic knock off one on Amazon for $35 to see if it was something that would actually be of use to me and that I would consistently use. I honestly hated it...I really hate having something around my wrist (always…
