  • Pass day 3. We had friends round and I made a few tapas dishes. Tracking was very approximate so I don't think I tracked everything.
  • Yes x3 Run for exercise
  • @Healthymumlife keep turning up. You might still make it to the winners circle and if you don't turning up and being honest and accountable is still an amazing achievement. When I was on here before (I think June, July and August last year) I made more progress than in the months I wasn't taking part even when I didn't…
  • Yes x3. Run for exercise. My NSV is that were were on a bit of a hike with my future SIL and my MIL. I had the baby in a baby carrier on me. My SIL made a comment about how fit I am. Noone would have ever made that comment when I was younger.
  • I love this! Self love is a wonderful thing to find on your journey
  • Pass day 2. Over on calories. Tracked and was active at least
  • I can fit into my pre pregnancy leggings and wear them comfortably. They are leggings so clearly stretchy but it's certainly on the way.
  • @donna25trinity I always think the alcohol thing is a really good analogy to show how hard it is to lose weight. If someone addicted to a different substance let's say heroin had to have some every day and all social events etc were planned around it they'd find out impossible to give up. We're doing so well against all…
  • That's awesome! Well done
  • Yes x3 Exercise was a workout from New rules for weightlifting. I always prefer to be a work in progress than a finished product. I would go mad without a goal to work towards so I like to mix my goals up and work on different things all the time.
  • Yes x3 run for exercise. I'm now 3 weeks into couch to 5k. I've done it previously (several times) and so I know it works. Looking forward to being someone who can run for half an hour solidly again. Nice to be back on track. I remember when I first downloaded mfp ages ago and I started tracking and I was really surprised…
  • @Mrs_Hoffer thanks! I've been here before but it was about a year ago. It's an incredible resource. Happy to be back here.
  • Pass day number 1. Lots of walking and I tracked everything but I went over on calories. A perfect storm of my period arriving, breastfeeding hunger and being out and about away from healthy choices and near unhealthy delicious choices. Back on it tomorrow.
  • 3x yes. Swimming as exercise. Only just on the calories though. I'm definitely an emotional eater and I find it really hard to fit exercise in when I'm stressed and busy. I'm on maternity leave right now but when I'm working it's full time as a teacher working long hours and then coming home to do childcare. I find routine…
  • Yes x3. Swimming for exercise
  • That's an incredible improvement! Such a short time frame too
  • Not sure what to say other than lots of love and positive energy going to you from Bristol, UK. You've got this. Probably doesn't feel like it right now but you do.
  • Yes X 3. Run today. I'm currently staying with my parents for a few days so my exercise will be walking or running exclusively. I'm looking forward to mixing it up again when I get home. For me positivitea is about acceptance. I'm struggling when I look down at my stomach and think about the journey I'm starting to just…
  • Yes x3. Walking for exercise
  • Yes to all 3. Touch and go with calories very close to the mark but just squeaked in. Run for exercise. My journey has been quite wobbly. I lost over 60lbs and maintained for a good couple of years. Then when I started trying for my first I gained. Didn't really get back on losing weight for about 3 years. Then I lost…
  • Yes x3. Walk for exercise today. Not feeling great so it was only a short one. Tracking is key for me. I've been on this road a few times now. I even maintained for a while previously. It was when I felt confident and didn't track that it all went wrong. I think I'll be tracking to some extent all my life. I hope it…
  • Yes to all three. Lots of walking and a run. I've 20,000 steps be the end of the day.
  • Looking incredible! Well done. What an achievement.
  • Yes to all three today. Exercise was half an hour of ring fit on the switch.
  • @MaltedTea I'm trying out different podcasts this month to see if there are any that I particularly like. Well done everyone. Lots of solid first days
  • Congratulations everyone in the winners circle for July! Excellent achievement. Day one successful. Logged and under, exercise was both a sample of dumbbell exercises and week 2 session 2 couch to 5k. I don't want to push myself too much whilst breastfeeding and so I'm keeping the runs light. Extra goal for this month I'm…
  • Psyched to get started today. Tough first day as I'm meeting up with friends I haven't seen in a while. I need to stop using "but it's a special occasion" as an excuse as there's always a special occasion. I can eat well and keep in my calories. I can squeeze in exercise. I've got this. So does everyone else. Good luck…
  • When I first started I didn't weigh myself for about 3 months. Then I could only face it once a month and it was nice seeing a chunk come off each time. These days I weigh daily in the morning and log on Libra. I think it actually takes the stress away. It becomes a mundane routine like brushing your teeth.

  • Bumping because I came searching for it for motivation
  • I use Libra to log my weights as it gives you trends. So I do a daily weigh in and just log the number. It charts it and gives you your trends. It's helped me to see weight as fluctuations but that's ok because I'm still going down. Might help.
