What's the overall goal? If the goal is more organs available for people who need them... you could argue that people should be allowed to sell their organs when they die (families are compensated), or even while they're still alive. There's obviously a big disagreement among people whether or not this is moral, so I think…

8.50 for four bottles? Ouch. Why not just use a protein powder?

I don't give two craps about using the bar pad. I'm squatting for muscle strength... not skin strength and looking cool. I use a bar pad I bought off of amazon. It wasn't too expensive, and it's a pretty dense foam. It helps a lot. I don't know if it's any better than the blanket you're using... but if the blanket is too…

If you've had success, I personally wouldn't change anything... but if you think no processed foods might help feel better or have more success, why not try it? Some people swear by no processed foods, others don't really care. Both groups have had success, so I think it's just a personal preference. I don't think you'll…

Cleaning eating threads always blow up with people arguing one way or the other. What works for me is eating whatever I want, but monitoring the total macros (protein, fat, and carbs) and calories to fit within my daily allowances and goals.

Overall, they're not all that accurate. From what I understand, they can vary from a number of things (dirty or wet feet, ect...) If it's just on your feet, then I think it's only measuring across your legs... so you're upper body may be out of the calculation. They make some with hand and feet sensors... so I've heard…

It does make a difference... not a lot per day, but it adds up. Drinking the 8 glasses of water per day (assuming ice water), burns about 70 calories per day. I'm guessing cold air is relatively similar... but I don't know how many calories it would burn, since air doesn't take away heat as effectively as water does.

It takes 20 years to make an overnight success.

Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs.

Progress has little to do with speed, but much to do with direction

Me too. So much so, I married one.

I usually go with the see food diet on vacation. I see food, I eat it. If the vacation is something that doesn't happen all the time (annual or so), I tend to value enjoying myself more than sticking to a diet. I'm not eating ice cream 5 meals a day... but I'm certainly not caring too much about what I eat. On the other…

Disagree. Not always, but usually people making more are taking more responsibility and are effective at delegating tasks to achieve an overall goal. Doing your job right is one thing... but effectively creating or managing a team so they can do their job effectively is something entirely different. It's not as easy as…

There'd be some elbow battles if I sat next to my wife at dinner. I'd win, but there would a battle nonetheless.

People should do what they want, but shouldn't have illusions that the "money will come later." In some careers, it simply won't. Look at the median incomes of your potential career paths and evaluate whether or not the money, or lack thereof, is worthwhile. Some people favor a more enjoyable career with less money over…

Increasing the weight certaintly counts. If you're getting good results from your program, such as getting stronger and needing to increase the weight... I say stick to it. There's no need to change the program itself.

My avatar was 100% weight training and eating a deficit.

I think your calories might be a bit too high. I'm not sure how tall you are, but I think that will lead to excess fat gain. I'm no expert, but when I bulk, I am for a 5-10% surplus in calories.

For pyramid training, yes... but I'm a fan of reverse pyramid training, which does the opposite. I prefer to do the heavier weights when my muscles are the most fresh. Of course, I do a few warmup sets before "starting" with the heavy weight.

PHAT for bulking and reverse pyramid training for cutting.

When I hear the word cleanse, I think fad.

They all pretty much work because of their caffeine. It will help give you energy at first... but you'll develop a tolerance. You could cycle on/off then, but I don't really think they're worthwhile.

Yes, please incorporate strength training.

Agreed.
