  • Basic concepts I think about regarding Keto: What do humans store extra energy as? If you are used to using that form wouldn’t those stores be easier to tap? What is the big difference between modern man’s diet (surviving-minus heart disease, obesity, diabetes, etc.- for hundreds of years) and our ancestral diet (with man…
  • May be a dumb question but does Splenda=Erythritol? I’m new to sweeteners...
  • Beginning Keto—My favorite YouTube personalities for Keto are Dr.s Eric Berg and Ken Berry. Sometimes they conflict each other in minor ways but I like that because it helps me remember there are many approaches. There are a lot of good ones out there. I’ve been doing this since May 2017 and I find new things all the time…

I think that is probably why I prefer this way of eating, I don’t have to try hard or feel hungry to be in a deficit. Nor do I deal with the energy drain I felt before.
  • I started Keto in May 2017 when I was 34, 5 ft tall, and 185 pounds. I work with kids so I run all day and just could not manage to lose anything strictly by counting calories. I had a wake up moment, found Keto and lost 45 lbs. I’ve gone off once, using more of a paleo approach and felt poorly. Bottom line, if you find…
