  • So sorry for your loss @idmalone take care
  • Yesx3 day. Barely but yes under budget...10 mins barre class -only 10 mins of a 30 min video in between work and feeding a toddler. 30 mins walk outside in the evening. In my experience steps add up when outside - in my case as I live in a small apartment...

  • Yesx3 days for the past 3 days. Work has been crazy. I do have to go back and read all the posts tomorrow
  • Agree with every word! There were a few days when things weren’t going that well for me but your motivational posts and the support from this group have been the much-needed reminders of hope. Happy Birthday Rick! Thanks for this group 🙏
  • I’m so sorry to hear this. Hugs In my prayers ...wishing them and you the courage and the strength to get through this.
  • Work has been very busy. But managed yesx3 days over last 3 days. Sat: 39 min walking: sun: over 2 hours cleaning home. Today: 20+mins dancing. I’ve been slipping up on sweet snacks which caused me to restrict dinners to stay under budget. Have to tackle this. Thanks for the reminder, Rick. Yes, a can-do attitude is a must…
  • Oh wow! Awake through surgery! You are so brave. Wishing you the best!

  • Ah! Sleep! The best medicine there is! I generally don’t have an issue but more recently have been struggling with my toddlers bedtime which leaves me stressed and awake. I’m tying to sleep train a toddler in the hopes of reclaiming my dear sleep back 🤞 Yesx3 day. No sweet snacks meaning under calorie budget; 15 mins…
  • Thanks y’all! You got me thinking about strength training. 🙏
  • Hey Jessica glad you got through the hurricane safely. Steps 7/31: 2957 8/1: 4870 8/2-8620 8/3: 2949 8/4: 3739 Argh my step counts suck. I’ve gotta do better this week 🤦‍♀️
  • Yesx3 days yesterday and today. Have been trying to cut down on snacks esp sugar and it makes it so much easier to stay under cal budget. For exercise yesterday: 30 min dance class ( with my camera closed of course 🤪) and today 30 mins interval training class.
  • Thanks for this. I saved a screenshot to my phone. Very eloquently written hard truths.
  • I’m not much of a cook. So a substitute idea for a sweet tooth: I keep my fridge stocked with those tiny raisin boxes. I eat one raisin at a time and finish half a tiny box - that’s about 50 cals. Satisfies my sweet cravings while keeping cals/fat in check. +1 for low calorie whole wheat tortillas. Easy to warm up on the…
  • Yes x3 days yesterday and today. Stayed under calorie budget both days. Exercise was playing with my toddler at the park and chasing him on his litttle bike and scooter 😅. About an hour each day. I’m in North east US. Super hot here currently.
  • Hi Jessica! I’m in for August stepping. Please mark my target as 8000. Thanks!

  • Welcome to all the new members. This is a great group to be a part of for support and accountability.
  • Sorry to hear you had to go through this but wishing you and your son the best ahead. You are very brave to be taking steps in the right direction. You go gal! 👊
  • Yesx3 day. Tracked and stayed under calorie budget. Exercise was evening walk with my toddler and 30 mins dance class. I definitely have two left feet so I dunno if you can call it a dance but my Fitbit says total 47 mins active minutes today so it sure was a workout 😂
  • Yesx3 day today. Logged and under calorie budget. Exercise: 20 mins Pilates, 45 mins walk outside with kiddo and 30 mins boot camp class. Tired but the good kind. Looking forward to a better August than July
  • Another pass day today. So I don’t qualify for the winner’s circle. But I’ll try harder in August. Didn’t track food today. Some unhealthy choices. But did good on workout. Walked in the park with my toddler for 45 mins in evening and also 30 min Zumba class.
  • A great supportive and empathetic group to help you on your fitness journey. A great way to stay accountable, vent your frustrations and motivate yourself to keep at it. I joined in June and have already signed up for August
  • I suck at meal planning. I basically hate cooking. My husband does the cooking and I do the cleaning. I also keep my freezer stocked with some go to meals. Smart ones, frozen veggies that can be roasted, chicken nuggets etc. I make impromptu omelettes or simple nut butter sandwiches once or twice a week.
  • Maybe I’m selfish... I truly wish I could spend more time with my kids and parents on a daily basis. But we do have to get food on the table and pay the bills 🤷‍♀️. One good aspect of the quarantine had been more time with family. Looking at the bright side 😀 I did use my 3rd pass day today. Fri and sat were yesx3 days.…

  • Great reminder on the Journey Rick! Yesx3 day. Stayed under calorie budget. snacked on cherries and raisins instead of dessert. Made tortilla hummus pizza for my toddler and me to cut calories but still eat a “pizza”. 30 mins morning walk with my toddler today + 30 mins Pilates+ 30 mins boot camp. I’m exhausted but happy 😃
  • I had a smartstart frozen dinner 🤦‍♀️ + homemade yoghurt with cantaloupe puree (that my toddler refused 🤷‍♀️)
