Bad start for the month for me. came down with a cold and pulled a muscle on the right shoulder. But managed to get in 7300 steps by walking outside during my kids soccer class. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Hi. I’d like to join this challenge. I’m trying to get back to being fit. I have two young kids and haven’t really focused on myself for a very long time. My goals for October are to eat healthy and be consistent with exercise.

One thing that i have been working on that is helping me on the good side is - eating more real food and trying to stay away from processed. So rolled oats and banana with milk instead of milk and cereal; brown rice vs white rice; more bone broth soups; salad kits with some hot sauce instead of a lot of dressing etc. this…

@BMcC9 happy birthday! Yesx3 days past 3 days. Taking a yoga class online in the mornings. Has been hard to wake up early ...but feels good rest of the day not to stress about slipping up on exercise. Cooking more so food choices have been better.

Yesx3 day. Exercise was morning yoga - 1 hr class. I saw a black bear on an east coast trail once from a distance while part of a group but I was honestly more scared of the creepy crawling worms in the wet mud than the bear 😂 But a grisly bear sounds very scary!
