What is your training like? Are you following an established program and regular deloads? I don't know much about PEDs/PCOS so I can't comment on that, but it's normal for beginners to be able to increase weight frequently. It sounds like you may be trying to do too much though, if you are starting to feel beat down and…

^ Paul Revelia has a great youtube channel, I would definitely recommend OP check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMNvwRc9pQo Here's a link to one of his videos on competing. He has MANY more, even some that go into calories/macros/cardio/coaching etc etc. Aside from that, I would stress that you really need to…

I’m not familiar with Elite Fitness, but CrossFit does offer a great community aspect which can be motivating, as well as coaches who will instruct you on movements you aren’t familiar with. For general fitness and improving body comp crossfit could be a great choice. If you are looking for more serious muscle building…

It actually worked out really great for a first bike! I got a more expensive bike for less than I expected to pay, and I know they took really great care of it.

I just bought a road bike last weekend and I am a total beginner, but my goal is to ride 3 days per week right now. There is a nice flat trail not far from my house, and I am hoping to check out others in the area as well. (It is paved so I guess you would call that 'road' miles?) 6/23 - 2ish miles of hills near my house…

Yeah, I will definitely pull back on the lifting if/when I decide to try a race. The one I am considering would be next May, and it's just a 300 yard swim, 15 mile bike, 5k run. It's at the wellness center where I train, and they offer a 12 week course leading up to it, so I would most likely take advantage of that if I…

I am just looking to complete the Tri. I also have 60-70 lbs to lose, and zero swimming background. So I don't expect to be in any shape to be competitive any time soon. Just looking for new ways to stay active/get in shape now that I'm no longer powerlifting. Thanks for the advice! I guess I'll hope that the DOMS decrease…

I have been into powerlifting/bodybuilding for a few years, quad DOMS are still normal for me. (Kind of always been jealous of the people who say they never get DOMS.. lol I’ve trained legs 2x a week for a long time and almost always sore for then next 2-3 days.) I have been slowly adding the biking/swimming. Started doing…

Somehow this posted under an old account I deleted... Hello, I am actually the OP. @cwolfman13 you do full body workouts, correct? My thinking was a similar schedule, but with the swims thrown in. Hoping that by spreading my leg work out I would be able to reduce DOMS. I am not new to lifting, but have had some time off…
