Hi and a warm welcome to MFP. Like you I have 200+ to lose, but after just 5 weeks I've already lost 24lbs! For the first time in many years I'm starting to believe that I can lose this weight - just log your food (all of it!), eat fewer calories than you need and it will happen for you.

If you can, make a plan that will allow you to indulge but remain in control e.g. set yourself an allowance of 2500 calories per day rather than eat everything in sight and have no idea how much you've had.
