My advice would be, just start with what’s comfortable. If you like the bike, use that. If you like to walk, walk on the treadmill. Don’t stress yourself with some fancy program, just have consistency and be happy with going. Any activity is better then no activity. Then build from that.

Daily. Knowing I’m stepping on the scales tomorrow makes me be strict with myself. Although if you do that don’t sweat over the fluctuations your weight naturally has.

I’m no expert, but this is something that works for me and may be something to look at later. I found myself to be “carb sensitive” I get very good results from 50% protein, and 25% carbs and fats. There’s little evidence backing high proteins, but it does work for me. So play around with your macros and track strength…
