  • It's one day closer to the weekend and vacation.
  • Morning all. Way to get after it @crymil1227 ! I've got a lap around the lake I have to make up tonight after work since I ended up getting drug out to trivia night @ Boston's Pizza last night. But hey, we aced the Hair Metal Bands category!
  • I use them, though usually only the  , , to convey expressions or sarcasm. I try not to overuse them. But it is what it is. They can take it or leave it, but I haven't ever had anyone complain to me about it.
  • Nothing broken, but I've had 3 instances of major inconveniences. First was a bad sprain of my ankle (1995ish), doc said I would've been better off if I had broken it. I stood up while half asleep and rolled my ankle. It went all the way over until the ball of my ankle touched the floor. Ankle swelled up to the size of a…
  • I only hit snooze twice this morning.
  • So much this! I'm an early bird by force, not by choice. Now where's my damn coffee.
  • Morning MAers. Another day of living in denial.
  • I'm just getting started here as well. I'm trying not to make any radical changes for fear of saying, "Screw this, it's too much hassle." But some of the things I've started doing: - counting cals using the MFP app (which has had the side effect of adjusting portion sizes) - consider food alternatives (don't always…
  • Successful for the most part. Thanks to a bunch of carnage in front of me, I managed 16th in class after starting 27th. Even with a couple screw ups.
  • Ignore, that double. I didn't realize it was held for approval the first time.
  • I'm more of a roadie, but have started running some oval stuff with the Northwest club. Tonight's weapon...holding down the rear of the grid. Ah well, I still have fun with it regardless. The race will even be broadcast on the GSRC YouTube channel.
  • I'm a roadie, though I have been starting to run some oval stuff with local NW guys. The weapon for tonight...locking down the rear of the field. Ah well, I have fun with it regardless. Tonight's race will even be broadcast on the GSRC YouTube channel.
  • Black cats rock. I've got a pair terrorizing the house.
  • Hey, hey! I love reading when I have a moment to kick back...usually a fantasy novel of some sorts (currently reading Crimson Campaign by Brian McClellan). Dragonlance & Drizzt novels are among my favorites. I've read most of Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonriders of Pern" series (started those in high school when I was introduced…
  • Not offended...maybe a little jealous. God, I haven't had one in years. I may need to remedy that. It's got fruit & dairy, so it must be good for you right?
  • I don't recall the last movie I saw in the theater...maybe Guardians of the Galaxy 2... I wanted too catch Ready, Player One but was to busy w/ work (60-70 hour work weeks on an oddball shift). I really enjoyed the book, so I was curious to see how badly they butchered it for the movie. Last movie at home was Heartbreak…
  • Currently reading "Crimson Campaign" by Brian McClellan. Also swung by Barnes & Noble yesterday because I was in the area...I really should stop doing that, because I can never just go in and look. Walked out with these. Super stoked about "Privateer", second book in the Dragon Corsairs series.
  • Adulting sucks sometimes. :disappointed:
  • Loving all the old school country Mischief. :)
  • Just finished.
  • ...finish "cooking" dinner.
  • Damn it, this video makes me want to pack the Mustang or Jeep and go on a road trip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bj4i-sW44s&index=27&list=RDGMEMYH9CUrFO7CfLJpaD7UR85wVMuvf9DlliY84
  • Doesn't get much better than that. A couple years ago I got a call from a friend I that another guy we served with had dropped in town (from CA for work) and was wondering if I was able to make a last minute dinner that night. I cleared my schedule and made the 1hr drive down. We all picked up right where we left off 20…
  • Truth is, you people are a distraction!
  • Oh snap, there's a flashback!
  • On a bit of a Emma Hewitt / Christina Novelli kick lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfj8d36qrk8&index=27&list=RDGMEMYH9CUrFO7CfLJpaD7UR85wVMuvf9DlliY84
  • I can't speak for everyone, but for me there is so much to see here and it can be done on a smaller budget than foreign travel. I did forget to add to my list getting to England & Ireland to visit friends from various online communities.
  • I've got a sit/stand desk at work as well. I do find that I tend to be pretty fidgety when I'm standing. Now whether that is due to standing in one place or the music...who knows.
  • No screen...yet. I'll have to work w/ white walls or a bedsheet for now.
  • Road trip. Road trip. Road trip. ...and get back to Australia for another visit or 2 (Bathurst, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne) and a hop across the water to New Zealand. Actually bought a Grand Cherokee back in October so I can get to places away from paved roads...especially to see some of the landscape in the SW. Plan…
