  • I could use some extra motivation to stay on track. Feel free to add me. I’d love to have more friends on here.
  • Start weighing your food on a food scale and prepare to be shocked
  • Minor setback this week. This is why I will never wear those pedicure slippers into my garage while it’s raining again. Those things should come with a freaking warning label 😖
  • I’m feeling less frustrated now. I had a weigh in and measurement check today with my trainer. I lost 10 pounds, 2 inches from my waist, 2 inches from my hips, 4 inches in the chest about an inch from each leg about 1/2 inch in my right arm and my left arm stayed the same. My efforts are finally starting to pay off.

  • Cheese was the biggest surprise on calories. I LOVE cheese and if I drink wine too then well... it’s over. Even cottage cheese though, it’s not as much of a serving as you think. I think it’s learning to substitute in the fruits and vegetables instead of heavy calorie foods. Another thing I’ve done is not use any…
  • I am noticing that after you measure and weigh things for a while it does get easier to do. It’s interesting to see how eating 1500 calories is actually possible even though at first I thought I was going to starve to death. Maybe the body and/or mind adjust over time. I have lost about 4 pounds. I see things are going to…
  • I started doing my oats in the fridge overnight because before this I didn’t really care for oatmeal. Overnight fridge oats come out thick and creamy just perfect for adding in fruit. I put a tablespoon or two of Greek yogurt in mine and a tablespoon of chia seeds which has a nice filling texture.

  • It just kills me how many calories are in wine... sigh.
  • Cotton candy grapes
  • This must be why when I study I get sooooooo hungry.
  • OK I’ll admit I had no idea that is what woo meant either, LOL! Jflowwers don’t get discouraged just keep doing what you think is best and wait a little longer. You may not see numbers on the scale change but start measuring yourself, the weights make more difference in size than weight. At least that’s been my experience…
  • I will buy new clothes. All new. Everything :-)
  • Good grief when it comes to work seminars they always have delicious food. I must say today was a battle. I had a SMALL glass of wine with lunch. I did have a small piece of the chocolate cream cake but it was worth the calories. I didn’t totally blow it and for that I’m pleased.
  • You all are already inspiring me to be better at this :-) I am 42 and I have about 30 pounds to loose. I’ve had a lot of difficulty losing and have tried a lot of different diets. I have heard that women our age need to lift more weights. I have been trying to do this. I think some of my extremely slow weight loss may be…
  • I really appreciate all the advice and suggestions.
  • I definitely was overeating on “good food”. I have a food scale and now I’m living by it which is why I realized I was over eating. I’ve been weighing out everything. Unfortunately I love cooking and of course eating it. The 1500 calorie goal was one my Personal Trainer gave me to go by. I’m trying to lose weight so I get…
  • So I had recently bought a dragon fruit and fell in love with it. I’m guessing they have a short season because they all seem to be gone now? Where did all the dragon fruit go? Back to the Seven Kingdoms perhaps?
  • I recently tried a creamer called Laird’s Superfood Creamer. It’s coconut milk dehydrated. Very little sweetness but it grows on you.
  • 42 = Thee answer 😎
