1. I noticed the other day that I was able to go up 16 steps carrying 7-10 lbs bag without feeling winded and needing less time for my heart rate to go back down. this has got to be accumulation of more movement and more consistent exercise 2. My period was normal this month, which I suspect is a result of eating better.

Going to go to April thread, so wrapping up my March posts by looking at how I did with my March goals: 1. Log in things I eat shortly after if possible - was a lot more mindful in doing this, definitely improved 2. Re-direct myself to the millions of productive things I have to/can do when I want to eat out of boredom,…

@pamperedlinny thank you for your reply to my post re: going over calories. I did have an overall deficit for the whole week, even with being 1k calories over total for the weekend, so I appreciate the acknowledgment about that. What is the title of the book that had the truth journaling in it? @CupcakeCrusoe thank you for…

Happy Sunday everyone! I was over calories goal by 500 on Saturday and today (Sunday). I am feeling discouraged and ashamed right now. thinking "why can't I just get it together." Weekends are hard for me to stay on track :( trying to put in perspective that I am in a general calorie deficit for this past week though even…

Happy weekend everyone! I usually think weekends are for "fun foods" and food as reward since I "worked hard all week." But my thinking is shifting to weekends are for recharging, creativity, fun learning, social connections. those things feed and nourish me better than binging/overeating Victories from yesterday: 1.…

@KrekolAnjel Congrats on going to the gym yesterday! And for wanting to lose weight in a healthy manner! I listen to podcasts that discuss anti-diet culture mentality/weight loss and it helps when I am tempted to shortcut/deprive my way to weight loss.

Good morning accountability peeps Am aiming to reduce the amount of sweets I been eating the last few days. Even if it stays within calorie goals, I have A1C level I need to reverse

Victory share: I had a hard day today, starting with eating 2 1/4 muffins at 2 am that added up to 1000 calories. It was so tempting to say f it and overeat and not move after work. But I went to the gym and did 42 min on the elliptical and ate a small dinner. I took a walk during lunch for 10 min. I am finishing the day…

Does this thread support posts throughout the week here about victories/struggles or is it just goal post and then follow up? I'm thinking it would help if I posted here multiple times a week. Today's victories: Logged everything I ate, walked for 10 min after dinner to decrease blood sugar spike, listened to positive…

@RavenStCloud kudos to you for getting out of the binge from Feb. For me, initially getting out of one is usually one of the harder things to do. Re-establishing routine after an injury is a great form of self care!!

Hello, I am recruiting support/motivation/inspirations. I just recently weighed myself for the first time in a few years and it made me want to engage in healthier behaviors and ultimately get to a healthy weight. I have been resistant to losing weight d/t many reasons (albeit subconsciously I realized). I would like to…

Im sick of people criticizing heavier people as if that will motivate us to hurry up with the weight loss. Motivate us to exercise at that moment by using them as a punching bag, maybe. :D Instead of paying attention to my weight, why don't you spend that energy trying to fix your own insecurities about your life?…

Made Christmas cards and caught up with a friend who just came back from 3 weeks out of state. Yes, I am making Christmas cards in late September smile: That way I can actually enjoy what I am making instead of starting in Nov with the holiday stress/pressure!

I had a friend ask me out of the blue, "Are your parents concerned about your weight?" Another time when I was talking about taking a 3 hr a week side job, she said, "You'd be better off using those 3 hrs to exercise." This same friend also made a crack on another friend's being overweight at my birthday dinner back in…

Tonight, I had this self talk: "I need to push and force myself to have a 100 calorie deficit. At least i will have a deficit." That thought didn't feel good at all. Scrambling over small calorie deficits make me feel crazy. The next thought: "I can have a cup of warm unsweetened soymilk that will give me the calcium that…

When I was weighed at the doctor's office this year Feb 2018 and it registered 206 lbs. This is the heaviest I've ever been and is a great opportunity to go through weight loss this time around WHILE accepting myself. First time in my life losing weight this way!
