I do 1200 or less--I try not to do less very often. And whenever I stop losing, I up the calories just a tad and exercise a little more, which for me isn't all that much, because I'm pretty sedentary as a writer and also because I'm 66 and have some physical restrictions. I drink hot drinks in the evening, instead of eating. That gets me through the craving. Coffee, tea...a sugar substitute, a splash of actual cream not the powdery stuff...does the trick.

All of my jeans are falling off now, after losing only 16 pounds. I actually look at myself in glass doors and ladies bathroom mirrors now, too, which I'd stopped doing a long time ago. It feels wonderful! :D
