I am asking why you put them on your list. They don’t seem like positions where Spanx would be necessary. I’m not saying I work in any of those fields.
-
Why #1 and #2 and #6 in your list?

I wear Saucony Kineta Relay. They have a 4mm drop. I guess they are more of a neutral shoe.

Runtastic does as well.

Which jobs do you feel Spanx being required would be acceptable to you? I’m curious if my line of work will be one of them.

Thank you!

Doesn’t bother me one bit in the gym. Now on the subway, don’t you dare sit down next to me and don’t even think about trying to talk with me.

I’d like to join you. I was 131.4 this morning. I’m 33F, 5’4”.

What is your weekly volume running right now?

I do my last race of the year on 4th of July. Then I don't really run much at all outside in July and August. I might run a few 3-4 mile runs on the treadmill during those 8 weeks. Come September, I start picking it up again. Now that it's November, I really, really enjoy my runs right now.

I'd like to run 2019kms for the year; that's 1256 miles.

Again, thank you for your responses. My company, like most has a strict social media policy which is why I don’t want to identify which field I’m in though I understand it would help this conversation. I personally have no problem with making oneself look as nice as possible; I have a problem with being RECOMMENDED to wear…

My company has no business relationship with Spanx; I do not work for Spanx or any clothing retailer but I do work in a customer facing position. The company has said that Spanx was a way to promote confidence in our uniform. I once wore some sort of torture hosiery once before and it was an awful experience. I wear normal…

I give my cleaning lady a grocery store gift card as I don’t really know much about her since I’m never home when she’s here to chat. I figure everyone buys groceries and if it’s not their choice store, well it’s easy for them to regift

Sorry for my delayed reply, I was gathering info: 1) Male employees were not part of this partnership. It was only offered to female employees and those who identify as being female. 2) I am not bound to a certain weight or size for my position; and there are many who are tiny and many who are large. 3) My employer…

I definitely have an intolerance to peppers and tomatoes despite loving them. They rip my insides to shreds and garlic on my skin will cause a rash. I’ve heard of something called a nightshade intolerance but have never been allergy tested for anything.

I hate garlic.

I like using a balsamic glaze. It has 35 calories per 15mL so I'm assuming that's about 70 for a typical 2TBS serving. Or sometimes I use tzatzizki sauce which is 20 calories per 28 grams.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll stick with the 2500 calorie a week deficit for now since I don't really notice it right now. I am a meticulous logger when I am home though I travel out of the country often for work which can lead to logging issues, but I do my best to be accurate (and smart most of the time). I…

No, 12lbs is all I have to lose. I am 132 right now and feel my best around 120 (118-123 is fine with me). I just don't want to be in a deficit when it comes down to the last 4-6 weeks of training. I have a 13.1 a few weeks after so I will technically be training for 13.1 come December.

Yes. Fitbit calculates caloric burns by adding your BMR and any calories burned from regular movement and exercise. It does not separate exercise calories from your BMR. It gives a number at the end of the day which is your total burn. I do no log anything on MFP exercise wise as I am given an adjustment usually of between…

I eat at a deficit of 3-4000 per week.

I can easily down half a box of pasta. When I eat spaghetti, which is honestly 3-4 nights a week, it is pure torture to limit myself to 6oz (3 servings).

7. I run 5 days a week. Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. Fridays are long runs. Wednesday and Saturdays are weight training days as well as some biking and/or walking. But I don’t have a car so I walk daily to the subway, store, other errands and my job keeps me active and moving also. I get about 130K steps per week, and I’m…

I actually like what you wrote. I'm a more serious and reserved person by nature and I don't go around with a phony smile planted on my face. Something funny happens or I'm happy for a reason, yes, then I will smile genuinely. I am told often by strangers in my workplace to smile because I'd be pretty. I now respond that I…
