  • The opposite happened to me, My TDEE is in the range of 250-400 higher than expected from all the calculations, All I figure is that I pace around/fidget more than a normal person my height/weight/age is calculated for. Maybe the opposite is true for your husband, Even with the extra exercise maybe the daily movement he…
  • It happens, I had a few months where I stopped counting and I only gained 7 pounds, I've already lost 2 of those in a few weeks so really in the scheme of things just jump back on and you'll be back to where you were in no time at all!
  • I've been eating 1-2 cookies a day lately and I care about my health, But biscotti is damn delcious too.
  • I think it's generally natural variation in bodies, activity and other stuff that can be hard to track all the time. I'm for one losing quicker than expected and I can't pin point why exactly other than maybe I've walked more or the few things I estimate are lower than I expect(1400 is suppose to be 0.5 and I'm closer to…
  • Might be a odd one. But re-losing some maintaince rebound weight without getting obsessive! No doubt that I consider watching my calories/nutrtion a hobby, But I usually take it to a extreme and obsess over the details. This time I'm actaully trusting the process and not worrying about having some cookies or chocolate or…
  • This thread makes me realize I'll never be perfect so it's okay to enjoy being "good enough", Being a bmi of 23-24 isn't fat and having a B stomach isn't the end of the world.
  • Maybe not a "Food" as such but I really miss the Mrs. Dash tomato basil seasoning, Never have found a substitute for that and I loved it on all kind of things. I bought up like 10 containers when our store put them on clearance
  • When I'm losing weight I allow two maintaince or maybe 200-300 over if it's a super exceptional day per week. I aim for a slightly lower goal the rest of the time so it averages out to a loss(1300-1400, maintaince 1700-1800 = 1400-1500 average which is roughly 0.5lbs a week). Keeps hunger at bay and allows you to have a…
  • Same thing happened this morning to me haha, 133.4 yesterday, 131.2 today. I guess I wasn't drinking enough water
  • My body is the same way, I can maintain 131-133 super easy, Even with a few rare very over days(like 3000) but once I get into the 126-128 range looking at food makes me gain back to 130...
  • I guess the opposite can be true too, Under/healthy fat at higher BMIs! I'm actually really curious what my bf% is I just don't have a opportunity to measure it right now
  • I'm the opposite, I eat less in winter and more in summer. Part is that fruit is cheaper in summer, and I love fruit. But it's a pretty identifiable trend for me, I live in the southen United States so it's warm here with mild winters if that means anything
  • I have one too, I thought I was the only person who did!!
  • Name: Elle How long in maintenance: on and off 8 months Goal maintenance range: 124-130 Current weight: 132.2 Current goal: 131 Recent success: Lost 1.5 pounds! Strategy for your goal: Stop mindless snacking and eat at a very slight deficit(100-300 under maintenance). I've been really good getting back into a deficit, kept…
  • I've been struggling with the same, I called goal at 125 but rapidly gained up to 130 and have been maintaining 128-133 since then which is a bmi of 23-24 for me, I'm pretty sure most of it is water/glycogen/food from eating more/late night snacks because I've been eating right and it's holding steady and has since May so…
  • Week of... May 5: 127.0 May 12: 127.7 May 19: 128.0 May 26: Mmh weight is still going up, I weighed 128-129 on the scale for most of the week and I really can't track down why just yet. I think it might just be fluctuations or a small increase somewhere...Possibly it could be as simple as I'm eating a meal later in the…
  • Week of... May 5: 127.0 May 12: 127.7 May 19: May 26: Struggle of the week: This week was rough, I underate the beginning of the week then had 3 days around 2500-3000. My average is up 0.7 pounds(my app says 0.4 gained) and I believe I gained something from that because I ended the week with about a 500 daily surplus…
  • I've been in maintenance for about a month and am already up 1.5/2lbs(0.4+ from my weekly averages) from my lowest. I'm sure some of it is water weight but I also did over eat several days in a row, It's seriously a struggle already so yeah..It's hard.
  • You're going to be losing and gaining weight, Even taking out fluctuations there are going to be times you will gain/lose real fat either on purpose or by accident. I really didn't expect that but a lot of long term maintainers have said this and it makes me feel a little more at ease to be honest
  • Name: Elle Age: 21 Height: 5'2 Total weight lost: 36 LBS Time it took to lose: 10 months How long in maintenance: 10 days +-, Been stopping and starting since the beginning of the year Maintenance weight range: 126-131 Average weight recorded from 2018: N/A I'm not sure of my averages for the last few months either Week…
  • Looking back over my week I realized a few days I ate a few hundred under because I was feeling a little sick and didn't have a appetite for awhile and I think my body was in fact evening out that deficit by being a little hungrier the last few days now that I think about it. Thanks everyone for the reassurance though
  • Same starting weight, Height and maintaining the same range as you. You look awesome!
