  • You can get a decent estimate of fat percentage by weighing before and after cooking/draining off the grease. Here is the math to measure the percent. Weight(raw) - Weight(Cooked) = Weight(fat) Weight(fat) / Weight(raw) = Percentage of fat, roughly
