I think you’re killing yourself at the gym a bit. It seems like a lot of exercise. You mentioned injuries being an issue too which lends me to believe you’re over exercising. Is it possible it’s only being in a calorie deficit that’s causing your weight loss? I suggest substituting another 0 calorie food with your vinegar to test it out like diet soda, flavored water, coffee.

Oh yes! It’s helped my appetite and physique. I suggest Greek yogurt and eggs as other ways to get your protein in with less calories.

Try different cheese! Feta is pretty low cal.

The only problem with evening workouts is getting to the gym for me. If I don’t get my workout in at lunch, by the time work has ended I tend to make excuses and I’m pretty tired. Also, the gym is sometimes busier and that bugs me too.

I’ve found that the best way for me to lose weight is to eat the most amount of food while still losing. If I undereat, I feel the need to overeat. If I overeat, than I want to cut really low to make up for it. It’s a bad cycle. What’s worked is just maintaining a constant middle ground of eating as many calories as I can…

Your avocado can stay fresh if you keep the pit inside and use some acid on the exposed flesh (lime, lemon, vinegar). Bananas can be eaten with brown spots. I do but that’s because I don’t like to waste food.

Dieting hard to lose 3 lbs during your period is worrisome. Your period is only 5-7 days long (typically). Are you crash dieting during that time just because the scale is a bit higher?

You can find substitutes for almost anything sweet that are lower in calories online. Or you could completely eliminate it. I find that that’s a less enjoyable way to live. I like the foods that I eat so I’m more likely to stick to my diet. Personally, I don’t completely eliminate sweets from my diet but I only give myself…

Okay so this isn’t really harassment but I’m curious....does anybody else have a really hard time dealing with people who have headphones in and sing out loud to whatever song they’re listening to? Like the gym I go to is so small, it’s impossible for me not to get totally distracted by this guy who sings just the chorus…

I’d be wiped too if I spent 1-1.5 hrs at the gym. I typically only work out for 30-40 mins. Otherwise I wouldn’t go to the gym, it’d more of a chore for me versus something I enjoy.

It’s tough! Is usually just go with whatever Dominos or Pizza Hut has. They’re pretty greasy and it’s better to just be a bit over than under. If it’s like a neapolitan style pizza made from high quality ingredients, than I tend to estimate a bit less.

I have the same concerns OP. I won’t be able to get pregnant until this fall but am working hard this year to get down to a healthy BMI before conception. Thanks for posting, the replies were helpful! I’ve heard 15-25lbs is pretty normal. I’ve had friends who shed the baby weight in a year and others who took longer.

FYI - Losing fat comes down to being in a calorie deficit. Exercise is great for you health though and, combined with adequate protein, will help maintain your existing muscle as you lose weight. You cannot gain muscle when losing weight though.
