There is a gourmet cupcake place close to work. If I am good for two weeks and I have exercised so I have some extra calories I go and get a cupcake, today it was a pumpkin spice cupcake, 330 calories. I still have over 1200 to eat for dinner. :-)

You better understand it and follow it closely. Too many Go on a Keto diet and they are not sure what they are doing. I had a friend try it long ago. He lost a ton of weight, that's because he nearly died and was in the hospital for 3 weeks. He looked sickly when he got out and he was so weak he could barely stand up.

Here is what eventually worked for me. I bought a Garmin watch that has a heart rate monitor. It does a decent job of seeing how many calories I burn in a day. Take the elevator 0 walk two flights of stairs 22. It has an app called Garmin Connect that you can link to MFP. I just make sure I eat fewer calories than I burn.…

I found when adding the full calories I burned into the calories I can eat it stopped me from losing weight. I believe devices that give calories for excercise (treadmill, watch) are only guessing. I add calories to my overall goal when I excercise as a reward, but I only add around 1/4th of what my watch says I burned. So…

Be careful if you are exercising to not eat too few calories. I wouldn't count all of them but eating a few extra to make sure your muscles can repair and your body doesn't enter starvation mode. I agree they are wrong so adding them to your daily allowance and then eating up to that will not work if you are trying to lose…

What tells you you burn 700 calories? Are you sure it is accurate? I run on a treadmill, entering my weight and age and it tells me I burn 500 calories.
