  • @youcantflexcardio Yes definitely unsteady. I would say the being on a boat comparison is spot on. I was given some meds to help until it cleared up, but it has been too many years to remember exactly what that was. Is the ringing still happening? Did they say you had any wax build up in your ears? I’ve had to have my ears…
  • Yep I’ve had BPPV. Also sometimes called top shelf vertigo because it can be set off by tilting the head up, like in my case. During the worst episode I was only really dizzy for about a month then it gradually got better. The exercises did not help me, just time. Hope it resolves on its own for you very soon!
  • I found a few legs and a piece of a wing in my Panda Express once. Could have been a cricket. Tasted just like orange chicken.
  • I’ll look for this today at Raleys. Thanks!
  • @skram01 I’ve heard about the Swiss water method. I’ll look for that! Strange how caffeine effects people differently. Glad you figured that out early to get relief from the migraines. He did mention trying to cut out the chocolate as well. I am not a big fan of chocolate so that will be easy to avoid at least.
  • I usually buy Peete’s. Good idea to look for the same brand in decaf! I love tea also. Appreciate the ideas.
  • For Christmas parties I always make bread pudding with a bourbon sauce. I think there would be rebellion among my friends if I ever showed up without the bread pudding.
  • You could smile and say “good morning, how are you?” Then go about your day. Repeat. Daily. You may be pleasantly surprised at the response you get.
  • Diablo Sauce Devils food cake Seven Deadly Zins Ghost Peppers Attempting to be bad but I still like them... except the peppers!
  • If your job offers a standing desk take them up on it. Most move up and down easily so you may not be committed to either position all the time. I started using one a few years ago and love it.
  • Today I plan to declutter trash. Go through the entire house with a big black trash bag and throw out broken toys, old cosmetics, paper work, expired food, etc. I also plan to unpack my fire evacuation boxes, which have been stacked by the back door since July. It’s finally raining!
  • When at my heaviest weight my knees hurt far more than they do now. My heaviest weight was in my early 30s (I am 46 now) when I was 15-20 lbs overweight. I am currently 5lbs from goal. I also have pain when walking down stairs (or anything downhill) and was diagnosed years ago with chondromalacia. My physical therapist had…
  • Haha! Ya’ll are awesome! I don’t regret a single bite from yesterday! Back on track today, easy because I’m stll full 😜. Plan to head up to the forest and hunt for Christmas trees today with the family. So not ready for Christmas to be here so soon...
  • Happy Thanksgiving from Northern California! Wishing everyone a happy peaceful day full of friends, family and food. I went to Pre log my food day... laughed at the red negative calorie number and added more butter to the potatoes. Enjoy the best this day has to offer!
  • @NewLIFEstyle4ME Thank you for your kind welcome! Congratulations on your weigh wins this week. I’ve never measured my head before, what a great idea! My win is 5 lbs down since I started tracking in early October. My jeans are starting to fit more comfortably, just in time for the cooler weather, yes!
  • Wow, y’all are so inspiring, I appreciate reading your posts! I have a house full of clutter; paper, clothes, crafts, kitchen stuff, kid stuff etc... It really weighs me down mentally. I can carve out the time, it’s what to do with it all and being motivated to tackle each pile is very difficult. I’ll get one area sorted…
  • @KareninCanada Thanks for the advice! The symptoms do seem like OAS. And I typically eat a lot of the foods on the lists you provided. Until the past week since I’ve cut my food list down considerably trying to narrow down what the cause is. I’m compiling a list of questions to take with me next week to the allergist. I…
  • @Gisel2015 Thanks for the advice! The office said 5 days of no antihistamines. They can do some testing at the first appt. but not sure how extensive. Just hoping they can narrow it down :)
  • @kshama2001 I’m glad you found something that finally worked! I have a/c and we put the hepa filters on both of the intakes. We quit running a/c when the weather cooled but have started running just the fan. I do think it helps! The portable room filter was about $250. It is good enough to filter smoke, but I’ll need to…
  • @Heidijens123 Good thought! The air quality has vastly improved from what it was July thru September so I don’t think that is it. It was definitely irritating but these symptoms are different. Smoke from the Camp Fire, which is about an hour away, is blowing the other direction so that’s not contributing. I’ll ask the doc…
  • @33gail33 I’ve definitely seen the rise in se of chickpea flour. Lol about your hubby. I bet he felt bad about the crackers! No hay fever, but who knows what they will tell me after the testing. I have been including a lot more veggies in my diet recently. Likely related to one or more of those. I am cooking veggies now…
  • @33gail33 Chickpeas! Wow, how did you figure that was it? So sudden and so scary... so glad you know what caused that reaction.
  • @Phoebe5164 yes thanks, I have been taking Claritin daily for a few weeks, and a steroid nasal spray on top of that. Symptoms and severity are coming and going. Itching is gone today but lump in the throat feeling is back, which was completely gone yesterday! At least i have been logging everything to look back to.…
  • Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. Gives me an idea of what to look out for! This afternoon/evening has been improvement over the last several days so I may be on the right track. Definitely looking forward to getting tested in a few weeks so I know for sure what to avoid.
  • Hi @FireOpalCO No body aches or fevers and vaccines are current, except flu shot which I have been putting off because of this. I have been considering the mold possibly. I dumped a bunch of food from my cupboards yesterday and the swelling set in again. I tried to go quick and hold my breath but likely stirred stuff up. I…
  • Hi @amy19355 I usually drink filtered water from my fridge. Not time yet but I could go ahead and get a replacement filter. Thinking about laying off the coffee. Though I’ve cut out all the goodies and have just been drinking it black. I’ll probably cut out all other drinks until I figure it out. Thanks for bringing this…
  • I’ve never heard of a banana allergy before, yikes! Glad it’s not severe!
  • Try Thirdlove, an online store. I wear a 32DD or F and they carry my size. Easy returns also. Department stores rarely have bands smaller than 34, so hard to find a bra.
  • I had a personal trainer recently who was old school. Think 70s and 80s LA gym scene. She actually worked out in same gym as Arnold, before he got famous. She was a competitive body builder and I learned a ton from her, no fancy equipment needed.
  • Peanut butter cream cheese fat bombs. Peanut butter banana smoothies. Yes on the Reese’s Christmas trees, but we call them Christmas poo because they really don’t look like trees. Any South Park fans know what I mean?
