feel free to add me, I keep my diary open to friends.

I think its worth it. I put in more effort since I'm paying for the membership and it lets you put in the times you ate each meal, and other features I find beneficial to me. If the free version works for you, great!

Feel free to add me. Mom of 3 and my husband is not really trying to lose weight so I could use the motivation and support also.

Green means the calories you have left, red means how many calories you went over your goal.

I'm a one meal at a time person. If I have a bad lunch or breakfast, I make my next meal healthier. each meal is a chance to make better choices.

I use my Fitbit charge 3 and find it pretty accurate for my daily calorie burn. I sync al my activity through it and keep my activity set to sedentary.

you can always manually add food into the database or search for it through the food database.

I've restarted again, take it one day at a time and you'll reach your goals.

I find it easier to keep certain unhealthy things out of the house. Ie. soda, chips, cookies. I'm lactose intolerant so no dairy, ice cream, milk. I can't stomach red meat or to much chocolate either. It really depends on the individual and what works best for them. I'm a carb junkie so my struggle is not over indulging on…

Hey, I'm a mom of 3 boys and I clean houses part time. I totally understand what you're saying about counting calories and meal planning. I'm working on calorie counting and getting back on track this week myself. I need to do better about my snacking and meal planning for the family. You are welcome to add me if you like.

I have my daily activity set to lightly active that includes daily walks with my dog, cleaning with my jobs and taking care of my house/kids, the yard work on a weekly basis. Whatever I get from bike rides, aerobics DVDs, elliptical workouts I will track and eat back half of those calories I'f I'm hungry.

Do you wear a HR monitor or Fitbit like device? If not, I would play it safe and not eat back all my exercise calories. I personally use my Fitbit to track my workout calories since it tracks my HR but I also do not eat back all my calories as both are just guesstimates at best.

A lot of recipe finder sites have filters where you can search by calorie content, sugar free, etc. I would also maybe find a good cook book for diabetics. Most vegetables, and lean meats. Best of luck to you!

I love under armor shoes and Nike cross trainers. I need to get fitted for a new pair next month though so I'm following to see what others recommend.

Added you. Congratulations on giving up drinking and hitting the gym!

Try looking for local events you and the family can attend. I have very few friends also, outside of my hubby and kids. I am doing this for me, but I do try cooking healthy meals for the whole family. You've got this!
