Over 10 years ago, maybe in my late teens/early 20s, my doctor told my I was pre-diabetic. I hadn't gone to the doctor since then. Finally got myself a different doctor and I've done 3 blood tests in the last 4 months and my sugar levels are normal. I've lost 89 pounds so far.
