Fantastic, looks like your team is my old hometown! Congrats on such a brilliant accomplishment - a wonderful story of a mind/shift to achieve a fantastic goal - amazing record time as well. Truly inspirational.

Looks like you have a few responses. I range between 1100-1300 calories, and have lost 36 lbs in about 6 months - some people do it faster, some slower. This will likely be at least a year+ journey for you, with a lifestyle change. The biggest realization for me was that I was eating at least double what I should be (I…

Recommend no cereal in am, maybe yogurt or cottage cheese and berries, add a little am snack like veggies and a couple of nuts, for lunch skip any butter or oil, add seasoning or lime or hot sauce.

I had a surgery about 4 months after losing 34 lbs and weighted around 205 lbs. My recovery was very quick. There was a woman in recovery who was probably close to 300 lbs, and she was having a very difficult recovery process - her heart rate would not stabilize and and her breathing was difficult. I don't know what…

Kohls has some good options online for sizes that are smaller or larger.

HW 242 (June 2018) CW 202-207 (June 2019) - unfortunately 207 as of this am. GW for July 199 July Goals 10 day mini boot camp 01 July to 10 July During these first 10 days time (exercise twice each day - swim/walk am/pm) Add a couple of land aerobic classes (at least try them) Stick very strictly to my calorie intake. No…

Brown rice instead of white, lime instead of dressing, lettuce because it is low cal filler. Lowe sugar items...well because they are lower sugar (but I have my limits). I prefer beef but opt for other proteins because it’s not good for me to eat steak every day.

What country do you live in? There are a lot of single mom's out there. I think if I could go back and make changes, it probably would not be to get as much education (sounds counter - but it is a vicious cycle of working to pay for it with less ROI). I don't regret my initial degree. I found that with my advanced degrees…

This week seems good so far. Last week with my 15 hour drive, and 12 hour drive respectively + not getting sleep & dealing with southern cuisine ( I was mostly running to avoid, but ultimately gave into a couple of local items)...swung up 6 lbs. Travel clearly does not agree with me, even when I'm trying to be good.…

GO buy a pack of 2 sizes down, you will feel much better :)

Nice moment of realization of your achievements thus far - well done.

Optimism is good, though I didn’t inherit that gene. Only the planner when Plan A, B doesn’t work - find a way!

If you added a different pair of glasses on your last photo - I would not recognize you as the same person. Only the glasses tie it in. Fantastic transformation.

My 2 cents....If it’s been awhile, Get a male doctor in internal medicine not family practice and ask for a physical. Ask for a full set of labs including vit D and Fasting glucose etc. See a separate OB. Ask if your med plan or work EAP covers wellness coach. Add some general multi vits, stay on MFP and keep going. Get…

I like seeing a glimpse of the old old me when I was 26 haha....she’s coming back...just taking some time. I was in denial for awhile

Try a size down in bra. Also I noticed after 25 lbs my tops got longer..... tops 2x to xl or x and I went from 20/22 to size 16 (a couple of 14s and a couple of 18s). I went down from 42DD to 38DD. Also bathroom stalls got big, so did my bathtub. However if you were stretchy clothes they stretch smaller too....which is why…

Does he want to prepare? Have him check out gyms...closer to the house the better. Maybe get a couple of training sessions to get him in a regiment.
-
Tell him to also get on the scale and join you on your journey. In my experience.....a lot of men get daddy bellies without realizing it ;)
-
Um, I thought she was just complimenting you. ;)

Perspective ...your fat weight is my goal weight and I’m only an inch taller....oh my!!! Sigh....

This is going to be a maintenance week - in Alabama, limited gym facilities, and having to drive most places (very hot weather) - unfortunately plus family cooking. I am trying to make a lot of the food, and drinking crystal light and NOT sweet tea - how is it these people don't gain 5 lbs a week drinking the Sweet Tea?…

All medications typically have some type of side effect - its a matter if it is more or less beneficial with the side effects, probably only you can decide for that. After I had my auto accident in 2009 my weight spiked and I took the pills, I did not find them particularly effective, and I had heart palpitations. Yes 1600…

In the morning eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, and 1/4 cup of blueberries - it should get you through the am, at least for 4 hours and has less than 150 cals. I also bring 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and a few berries as mid afternoon snack. High protein, high fiber with the berries and quick and easy.
-
Try to add a little more lean protein and fiber to keep you from hungry. 1/4 cup of plain cottage cheese and a handful of berries is my go to.
-
Whoo hoo - Fantastic win.

May Close Out ~ Well I didn't gain, that's a plus, I lost about 1 lbs (on the upper range). I didn't reach my weight goals, but I think I'm only now this week getting back into a regular body cycle/rhythm after my April surgery, so I won't beat myself up. Just staying the course and logging. My upward range has gone down,…
