We're in the middle of a big project to bring more standardized serving size options. But as mentioned by others, most of the items are entered by users so they might have entered what they had on hand or was was on the label at the time. But we're working on getting what we can converted.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. The dashboard at the top of the Diary can't be set to macros consumed as of now. But it's something we're looking into. On the homepage dashboard, we give you both a consumed value as well as the remaining. Let us know if you have any other questions!

We got you covered. See https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032622531-Can-I-track-Net-Carbs- for more information. Please note that sugar alcohols are still a bit tricky since not all labels will report them. But it's something we're looking into.

Some of the team were talking about this exact thing just a few days ago. No promises on when it might show up in the apps, but it's something that we are very much aware of. Thanks for sharing!

We're aware of the issue and are working on a solution. It seems to be related to go over 1000ml of water, so using cups or ounces (to keep it under those four digit values) should still work.

Thanks for sharing! Passed this along to the team. In the meantime, save it to your My Foods list for quick logging later.

There is a lot of work being done to clean up the database while not gutting the work other users have done to help grow the database. Some things are more straight forward but huge tasks, like updating all the "avacado" to "avocado", to complicated issues like ensuring that we have relevant and comprehensive serving…

Oh! @HeresDan, can you share what FAQ or resource you were talking about the "floating +"? Sounds like something needs to be updated with the new layout. Thanks!

I love this idea @bikrrr - here's how I handle it: You can go into your Diary settings to reassign the meal names as well as add/remove meals. So while we don’t have a time-based preference for the meal, how it sounds like you’d like your Diary to be labeled can be setup. Best of luck with your health and fitness goals!

Thanks for the feedback! Sending this off to the team responsible for the website.

Lietchi has the right of it. The various types of measurements used in a recipe make it really hard for the system to sort out what the final product is going to shape out. Give it your best guess when you first make it and then edit the recipe if you're finding that the total servings are higher or lower than you first…

Thanks for taking the time to contact us and for the great suggestion involving being able to wake up and chose predetermined goals at any time for those with busy and inconsistent schedules. We will definitely consider it for a future update.
-
@Lietchi nailed it! For iOS users that come across this: Yours is in an Edit button at the top of the Diary.

Mentioned this in another thread but I'll post this here as well. Currently on iOS, posting a photo to your newsfeed directly is done through posting a progress photo. We're still passing along this feedback.

Currently on iOS, posting a photo to your newsfeed directly is done through posting a progress photo. I'll keep passing this feedback along to the team as I did during the UA years.

While the starting point for the app is the Dashboard by design, it shouldn't be flipping you out of your current page back to the dashboard. To reach our support team for assistance, please visit https://myfitnesspal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us or email directly at support@myfitnesspal.com

Thanks for the feedback! Is it the combination of the dashboard and the space for an ad that is the concern here? What device are you on? Is screen size a factor here?
-
Hello! Thanks for the feedback. I've passed it along to the team for consideration. Totally see how that can be helpful. Although might be tricky since sorting out what meal to increase would be challenging. Wouldn't want your breakfast to increase just you went on a mid-day walk. But I see where you're coming from.

I have good news, we already got you covered! If you tap the Edit (iOS) or Pencil icon (Android) at the top of the Diary you can then check individual items, meal categories, or select your entire Diary to delete/copy/save as needed. Let us know if you have any other questions! Best of luck with your health and fitness…

@jmf552, @Horsejumper1, and anyone else running into this: Reach out to us if you please through the Help at the top of the website or the Help in app so we can look into this with you. The Recent and Frequent lists should be doing what you think they should be. Might be some quick troubleshooting we can try to get the…

Our apologies for the experience. We recently updated our color palette and one of the things we specifically changed was the red text for being over on macros. The website, which I assume you're referring to, still has the red text. But it is something that we're looking at for future updates.

Because recipes list ingredients with various types of measurements (weight, volume, and so on) there is no way for the recipe editor to calculate how many servings of a particular size will result when the various items are combined. I'm afraid this hasn't changed due to any recent updates. If you're not sure how many…

While the space used is probably pretty minimal, I totally get not needing that many old messages. I'd recommend reaching out to use via a support ticket so we can take a look with you. It may just need a reinstall of the app to clear the local cache, but we can talk you through that.

We don't have a feature like this at this time. But it's something we've heard people are would like and so it's something that's being looked into. Thanks for the feedback!

While I don't have a timeline I can share, we are working on a big underlying project to standardize serving sizes in the database. Bringing more items with accurate nutritional information as well as both volume and weight serving options. Many items have already been updated, so take a look around the results to see if…

Hello! I'd like to point to towards Meal Scan, which is one of our newer features. It leverages computer vision and machine learning magic to help estimate the portion size, and therefore calorie content, of what's on your plate.
-
We love that, and I'm sure a lot of other customers will too! We'll pass it along to the team!
-
This is something we've heard from users and it's something we're looking into. No timeline I can share but I can say that at least it's being talked about.

We get that a lot of users leverage their food diary to track their supplements. We're definitely considering adding native support for tracking additional vitamins (such as Vitamins D and K), as well as supplements, or medications. In the meantime, many users use the Notes area to record these additional items. As an…
