I took Synthroid for a couple years and it did nothing. My Dr kept upping the dosage and it still didn't help. So I stopped taking it and actually started to feel better. I am 4'11" and need to lose 80lbs. I eat low carb/low calorie because it is the only thing that works with the weight loss. Now I do not get the message…

Yes! It is so hard. The weight used to fall off easily, now it is a struggle to lose a couple pounds.

Same time every morning. Naked after I pee. I have to do it daily. If I don't I will slack off thinking I am doing better than I really am when actually I am gaining or staying the same.

I am 48 and need to lose 80-100lbs. Doing low carb. I have hypothyroidism so it is SO much harder to lose now.

I have 80-100lbs to lose. The other half is lucky and is in his late 40's and can still eat whatever he wants and not gain. But he does the cooking and tries really hard to make low carb things for me and just add stuff to his after he makes my part. He is supportive so that helps.

I have done low carb before (similar to keto) after the first couple of weeks the sweet/carb cravings subside and it gets better. But if you cheat and eat carbs....that is the downfall.
