  • I use to use creamer at home but loved lattes when I was buying coffee out. I received a simple latte foamer ($10-20 variety) for my birthday. I now make lattes each morning… just milk and sometimes stevia w/a couple drops of vanilla.
  • For me, I find typical breakfasts are rather low in protein. I often skip breakfast foods or save them until later in the day. Large 12 oz chicken breast has 75 grams of protein. (I would split it between 2 meals) 8 oz sirloin steak has 61 grams protein 7 oz cup of Fage yogurt 20 grams protein

  • Sometimes, I have to tell myself it is ok to entertain these thoughts AFTER I eat my dinner. This method really helps me. I make much better decisions when I am not hungry. It is weird for me… sometimes I don’t recognize I am hungry but after I eat a little meal these cravings are almost always gone.

  • I am eating a 1/2 of a large chicken breast and a few odds and ends like cottage cheese, peanut butter, etc. 90grams of protein adds up easily. I definitely have a modified body building diet; I still want some enjoyment! A big steak and a couple chicken breasts is probably close to 210
  • @mari_moulin I am averaging about 90 grams a day. I am trying to gain muscle mass and lose fat. I am scared if I don’t eat enough protein, I won’t see gains the way I want to. A guy at the gym said he is doing something like 210 grams a day. 😳
  • I completely get not being too restrictive. If I am too strict with my diet, I fall off of it. Eating enough protein seems to help with my appetite so I do try get in a decent amount of protein.
