  • 3x Yes I thought I might have to take my first pass day for the month because I went out with some friends for lunch and didn't have a lot of calories left for dinner but I wasn't very hungry in the evening so managed a light meal.
  • 3x Yes No pass days but for the record I'm eating at maintenance and still haven't lost the couple of pounds I gained last month.

  • 3xYes No pass days yet though I should mention that I'm eating at maintenance for now
  • This made me laugh. I hope your basement is nice! :D
  • Was that rhetorical @o0Firekeeper0o ? Looks like I can post this exciting picture of a quesadilla I made last week using spelt tortilla. It's a little flakier than normal flour tortillas. Or maybe that was just the brand. I've not been posting lately because I'm not actually cooking at the moment due to being in a…
  • That's timely ... by the end of three months I should be settled in my new home in a new state and no more stress. Then I can get back to eating more healthy and return to EPIC. And grow tomatoes successfully which I can't do where I currently live.

  • @enlightenme3 that's helpful to know. I prefer to use Firefox for everything but when MFP changed to the excessive white background I found it looked better on Safari and made it more tolerable even though I still hate those changes but life goes on. I'll see if it works OK on Firefox. Maybe it's something else ... Update:…
  • Hope they can figure out what's wrong quickly @jmu1965
  • 3x Yes Is anyone who uses the web MPF for logging food noticing missing arrows (to go between days) or the ability to delete an entry? Since yesterday I seem to be missing the graphics which means I am unable to correct mistakes. I'm on a mac using Safari ... so maybe that's the difference.
  • @ashleycarole86 thanks for that additional insight. I think that's a good idea to think about the worst case scenario.
  • Thanks for the responses @Caroline_slowandsteady & @jamcnewman I share your propensity for procrastination @jamcnewman which is not helping. I don't usually have this type of stress. I think part of the problem is I'm still a little ambivalent about the changes we're making (new job for my partner, cross country move,…
  • Stress is on my mind. I have made a point of having a stress free life since I retired about 1.5 years ago. While my prior job was somewhat stressful I handled it well most of the time. But now I'm in a period of high stress and I can't relax. My stomach is constantly in knots ... which is something I haven't experienced…
  • 3xYes today no pass days this month though I should probably point out I'm doing maintenance level calories rather than trying to lose weight. It works much better given my levels of stress at the moment.

  • Mostly that my natural thinness wasn't going to last forever. I never concerned myself with weight as I never gained. I even went through periods where I wanted to gain but couldn't because the amount of food it required was too much and made me feel awful. Around age 50 things changed. Menopause really does a number on…

  • @tahm42 My hand/wrist pain is from years of computer overuse and in recent years the phone doesn't help. Lately I've been using the speech feature for texting to give my thumbs a rest. Unfortunately, I learned to type on manual typewriters which required a bit of pressure and I never lost that habit on the computer. It's…

  • 3Y day again I've not seen this particular Wheel of Life but have seen similar lists. I'm completely happy with my life in all areas most of the time outside of this quite stressful period I'm in now. It helps to know that it's temporary. For me the primary area I'd like to improve is health ... specifically physical…
  • 3xYes today ... even got over 10,000 steps for a change.
  • Couple of lamb chops and Brussels sprouts in tomato pesto.
  • 3x yes for me @mshawski ... I wondered what happened to you. Glad to see you return....

  • Went out for Happy Hour for dinner. Smoked salmon over potato galette w/crème fraiche and arugula. Tuna tartare tacos w/smashed avocado, napa cabbage, wasabi, aged soy and sesame.
  • I'm glad they got rid of the disagree button. This is a site that is supposed to support others in their health journey. The disagree button adds no value to that end.
